Seems like a bunch of people who need to get tried for treason and convicted to me.

Everyone involved in this from the fbi agents to the judges to the dems in congress who wanted this shit.

Every. Single. One.

I'm sure the FBI will be raiding Hunter Biden's house very soon since he had his 14 year old niece give him a footjob. Along with all the crack he photographed... on a scale.

Oh, and the emails where he explicitly accepted bribes from the CCP on behalf of Joe, and complained that his dad was taking 45% of his income.

anyday now

This is what happens when Democrats seize control of the FBI and make sure that other Democrats get recruited until the whole organiztion is a libtard praetorian guard.

Yeah my impression is that during the Obama years, with Clinton backing, Democrats solidified control over the federal apparatus. You can argue it occurred over a longer period of time, but it appears that if you go back far enough they were investigating commies. Trump was not in office as long and didn't have the kind of pull within the government to replace everyone. So they investigated Trump and friends, and the situation remained relatively unchanged as the Obama 2.0 regime stole their way in.

Not just Democrats, globalists. The CIA using drug running as an infinite money hack may have started earlier but was definitely underway under Ford, run by G.H.W. Bush and it's been run uninterrupted by the Bush/Clintons ever since.

There's a book about the murders of Don Henry and Kevin Ives that lays out pretty strong evidence, circumstantial and otherwise, that every LEO in Arkansas, down to small town cops, was part of the Clinton drug ring in the 90s.

The "long march through the institutions" dates back to the 1960s, but it took decades to build up enough momentum and power to truly take over.

Bear in mind that J Edgar Hoover was totally out of step with the new liberal rank and file coming in near the end of his tenure, and they destroyed his legacy.

Trump has always been a complete crook

I'd accept that if there was any real evidence of it. Best I've seen is that he uses political pressure on people who may not deserve it, and rewards his political allies with positions.

Compared to blood-drinkers, child rapists, sex slavers, wedding bombers, and Communist vassals that we currently have, he looks like fucking Mr. Rogers.

He wanted to fight the culture war instead of ignoring it.

That's a good thing. Many people like to dismiss the "culture war" by calling it trivial when it is the social manifestation of the neo-Marxist left and its capture of more than our institutional bureaucracies. It is the "hearts and minds" facet of political dominance that goes along with with the institutional capture (well illustrated by the FBI raid). When sane people began complaining about the trans-sexual social contagion it was dismissed as a trivial culture war skirmish. Same with the censorship of political opinion from the right.

It isn't just about unisex bathrooms and it isn't trivial.

I couldn't help myself. I had to look. Here's the top comment on r/conservative,

Can someone explain to me how anyone is making judgement about whether or not this is a good or bad thing? We have no idea what they found, it could be something huge it could be nothing. The fact that half of the population is acting like this some attack on democracy, and the other half is cheering when we don't even know what happened is just absurd to the highest degree.

Let's give the FBI the benefit of the doubt guys. It's not like they've proven themselves to be completely corrupt over the past decade plus....

I wonder if that's the same excuse they gave for the raid on Project Veritas where the FBI gave all of O'Keefe's confidential communications with his attorney to the NYT, who he was in a lawsuit with.

The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.

If the FBI wants a partisan war, they're going to get one. The Republicans are going to get full control of government and gut their fucking agency.

Honestly, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the FBI's response to the massive funding cut they deserve from Congress would simply be to supplement departmental income with illegal activities.

They've already shown they don't give two shits about the law; I'm unsure what's stopping them going all-in at this point.

Go to election as socially and fiscally conservative, except with a plan to provide healthcare whatever it takes, cap med prices, create a Swiss government insurer.

Oh but that's a contradiction, free market, competition, would be unfair... Shut the fuck up.

Supermajority and complete control over all branches of government for 8 years, time and power to fire the administrative state and clean up shop. I don't give two fucks about your ideological free market principles, I want to win.

NewsMax said the White House claimed to be unaware of the raid. If that's true, I'd actually be more worried because it really means that the FBI is operating entirely independently of the White House. I don't necessarily believe the biden Regime when they say that, but if it's true, then they really aren't in control of very much.

The FBI properly reports to the President, unless I misunderstand the Federal government. Any intentional separation would be a show to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest. And they may use some of that, when investing the President's enemies, however there is nothing to stop the President from ordering around the FBI should he want to.

When something is this important, I'd bet the President is involved. Like I say they may create some information barriers / plausible deniability to give the impression the FBI is acting of its own accord. And thus formally the office of the President may not actually know the hour when the FBI is knocking on a door, however you can bet they are exercising control. Not so much Biden himself, obviously, as he doesn't know where he is unless they tell him.

No on both accounts. Israel has always done whatever it felt like doing, normally in defiance of what the White House wants, despite military aid and supplies being incredibly valuable to Israel. Israel can't tell the US what to do, so it just does what it wants and hopes that lobbyist organizations in the US can pressure congress and the white house afterwards.

If people were honest, they'd actually look at the internal conflict within jewish populations in Israel contrasted with the US & Europe. This is best described by the religious divide. Despite all the rhetoric about judaism being at the core Leftism, it is religious jews that are the most based, and most anti-Leftist. This is because Leftist jews wear judaism as a skinsuit, just like they do with everything else.

Look, I don't really think the idea of "oh, Trump can't win, they aren't scared of him, he's a shill, he won't do anything" is clearly not the case here.

I really don't think Trump is going to do pretty much anything but get vengeance for shit like this. Really. Trump is not the type of guy who seems like he will just turn the other cheek.

You don't pull this shit unless they are deathly afraid of him getting back into power. They obviously hate him and are willing to at least break the law to stop him, but there has to be a reason. Trump could be easily bought off, but they didn't and they keep digging their own hole here.

I'm starting to think that when Trump wins in 2024, before he can fire 50,000 federal employees, we're going to look at DC basically evacuating with all of our money. I think it might turn into a ghost town.

It doesn't really matter. They could have raided his house for a box of cookies. You don't raid President's homes, even ones that are unpopular or disgraced. They are pretty well protected politically. I don't necessarily agree, but that's the way it is. It's a warning shot at Trump's head. "Next time, we won't miss."

Hell, think of the FoxCatcher murder. A well connected millionaire straight up killed a man in cold blood, in public, in his house. The police didn't go in until he surrendered himself, and simply went in to gather crime scene evidence. Rich & connected people don't get treated like others. This is them treating him as bad as they would treat a Jan. 6'er.

I just don't think it's a "we're scared shitless of Trump because he's going to take us down," move. It's a "we can't get enough of fucking with Trump and he can't do shit to stop us," move.

They would have to be pretty blind to think that there's not going to be blowback politically, even by establishment Republicans, or MAGA adjacent people like Ted Cruz. They kind of have to respond to this because there's no reason that they wouldn't be next. After all, Cruz has been accused of attempting to assassinate AOC by co-ordinating the Jan 6 'attacks on the Capitol', and was wearing far-right iconography on his boots.

It's 1,000 times worse than when they raided Project Veritas at the behest of the New York Times, and even then you had journalistic and legal organizations coming out and saying, "uhhh... we want O'Keefe dead as much as you do, but this makes us look shady as shit."

If it were a "he can't do shit", it would be really stupid.

If anything, I would think it would be so malicious that they are hoping it would cause right-wing violence.

I agree with that. I mean what are the odds really that they find evidence of a heretofore unknown Trump crime by searching his office? At this point. After investigating him since he was running for President. They are fucking with him, and they are fishing. It seems unlikely they find anything, but from their perspective the raid itself is useful propaganda so may as well do it. It costs them just their reputation, which is nonexistent at this point. I mean I guess they score points with TDS morons.

He could have been at the start, I suspect, by now, however, I expect Trump's taking this as a personal attack - which it is - and will come out swinging.

The only reason I can think of for being this brazen is already knowing Trump simply will not be allowed to win.

I mean, I'm sure the FBI thinks that ... but I'm sure Clinton thought that in 2016, too.

That makes sense. Polling for 16 was very bad. Anyone who is interested in politics should look up how polling actually works and how they fucked up the 16 election. If they're intentionally rigging for a close election, they are probably using those numbers that come out, and they were bogus that time.

Incidentally, numbers from the 20 election will be used to skew raw data for 24. So cheating back then will actually impact how polls look for 24. At least the official ones. Insiders may have access to raw data in order to apply their own formulae if they're looking for how much to cheat.

I maintain that Trump could have been turned into Borris Johnson if he had stayed in. Honestly, "losing" the 2020 election may have done him better than winning it. He wouldn't have avoided a recession, Afghanistan would probably still have been a shit-show, Barr, Fauci, and Milley would all still be there getting in front of any attempt to change anything. Hell, Kushner would still be there.

All they would have had to do in 2016 was placate his ego like the Saudis did when he did his offical tour. If they had just been magnanimous in 2020, they'd probably have quite a cucked or undermined Trump. Now he's going to be coming back on a war-path.

Look at what they're doing with the dollar. It's already in progress, mate.

I know, that's actually my point. I don't agree that this is "end of empire", but I do think that basically the Kleptocracy has kind of decided that this is probably the end-game in the US. They are draining the treasury like Uday Hussein did because I actually think they know this chaos and lack of leadership on their part means their loss may be inevitable, even if it's not by Trump's hand.

I'm gonna keep buying metals because I really don't think that there's going to be any real money in the American economy outside of it by 2024, but I think that if the Kleptocrats are all cleared out, we might actually make a swift recovery.

I'd be more tolerant of the argument if it were solely based on age. But the reality is Trump has a ton of momentum and it's because of the voter fraud issue, and his incumbency, and people remember how it was better when he was in.

The biggest danger to DeSantis is strategic. If he got distracted and greedy and tried to run against Trump in the primary, he would weaken the political infrastructure of Florida (which he's still trying to secure by clearing out the AG, fixing the Boward County BoE, and solidifying his political capital) by leaving it to someone even less experienced than him. If he lost, the damage could cost him his career and then Florida.

It's really the worst possible decision.

For DeSantis part though, it looks like he is taking the correct response toward dealing with what happened. Because his initial statement he put out amounts to "You barge into my state, violating my laws and jurisdiction, and have the fucking audacity to harass one of my Citizens?! For your own sake, you better have a good reason!"

That's basically all he can do, and it's also a very common refrain among state agencies (so it gains him political support at the administrative level): the feds just constantly roll-in and do whatever the hell they want without telling a single fucking soul, at everyone's detriment.

Well if the FBIs plan was to just intimidate Trump and MAGA, it failed. Miserably. Because the initial reactions are showing the previously fracturing MAGA movement re-solidifying, DeSantis and Trump having a truce with each other, and a lot of MAGA and their adjacents promising war.

Oops.

DeSantis is also incredibly young. He has many more chances for presidency beyond this single coming election. A couple more years shoring up his accomplishments and waiting until a guy who has an entire near manmade cult of personality around him is out of the picture is just common sense.

I agree. Very astute. DeSantis should wait until Trump's second term is over.

I really can't see any D candidate winning anything, no matter who the Rs put up in '24.

But what if the DP/press corps manage to win the Presidency with, like, Bootyjudge? Is that even possible? Would Gabbard run as a D? My mind boggles at the possibility of another 4 years of DP rule.

Blue enclaves like SF, LA, CHI, NYC, etc, are lost causes, but their respective states are not.

Trump needs to stop appealing to regime lies such as Watergate, which was more similar to the Russia hoax. It doesn't work and reinforces the enemy's frame. This is closer to Waco except they aren't blowing up his children yet.

Breaking into a psychologist's office to dig up dirt on a potential political opponent, covering it up, and paying tens of thousands of dollars in hush money isn't the same as the Russia Hoax.

There was never any evidence of the alleged CompriMat that the FSB had.

The Plumbers were long-time, well-connected, political activists who had been engaging in criminal activity at least on the orders of the Nixon cabinet, were physically caught, and deliveries of hush money were absolutely made.

You can claim that Nixon didn't know, or that he was impeached on other things, but the Watergate break-in and cover-up was far more legitimate than the Russia Hoax.

The thing about Watergate is that the public was less jaded. They were shocked, shocked that information would be gathered in this manner. Today, they'd just get whatever information they wanted -- probably don't need a break in when you can get a court order for it, or the guy will just leak it to you. And they wouldn't display any shame for gathering dirt on a political opponent. Nor would the public be shocked. The difference today is the public knows that crooks are running the place. Perhaps they accept the MSM blinders on the details, but the public does not assume the good character of the people around the President.

In other words, the Watergate crimes were real and the accusation that Trump "colluded" with Russia to do whatever the fable is supposed to be is a lie.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Gizortnik 2 points 2 years ago +2 / -0

Absolutely. I see the arguments that Nixon didn't know anything about Watergate, but I don't believe it seeing how he conducted himself regularly against his opponents. Even if he didn't know, it was still his staff that did it. And they really did actually break the law, commit real burglaries, and he really did try to cover it up.

So yeah, real-life, no-shit, actual crimes; versus allegations of colluding, which were actually allegations of being vulnerable, which were founded on complete fiction, sourced by political opposition, and were supported by governmental corruption.

The biggest problem of the Russia Collusion nonsense, is how many federal agencies, judges, and staff colluded into breaking federal law to propagate it.

How did MSNBC get Trumps tax returns again? Oh that's right, someone stole it from a federal court proceeding where the documents were supposed to be sealed to all but the parties involved.

Right. I can understand why all the corporate press was after the Teflon Don because they were all proven to be absolutely wrong and transparently partisan regarding the 2016 election, and they weren't about to let 2020 get away from them. So they put the heat on Trump for his entire term and beyond.

The Alphabet Agencies . . . my guess is that they are routinely involved, with the cooperation of the press, in the selection and advancement of particular Presidential candidates (Clinton for one example) and Trump's team left them out of the process; in fact, he threatened their job security with all his bluster about swamp draining. They must have compliant Presidents to serve whatever their interests may be. This may be why soon after gaining office any campaign pledges regarding cutting bureaucracy are forgotten.

Now in gearing up for his third run he's getting specific about how many bureaucratic sinecures he plans on eliminating. I'll bet this is getting a lot of jaws grinding and is behind the raid on his house.

My hunch is that all elites including the Trump family are captured by the agency and its franchises. If he's not controlled opposition, it's only because Trump pissed them off by not doing everything they asked. In fact he was probably just meant to run as a easy foil for Hillary who was the actual chosen one. In other words I agree but think they were involved in the process up to the actual election at least.

It's not a guess, former agency employees comprise all of their sources, correspondents, advisors, experts, and even run the reporting desk.

It's everything they say about the Military-Industrial Complex on steroids.

he threatened their job security

He didn't do all that much, but he did limit their power. Now he has to eliminate their actual employment. That's why Schedule F scared the shit out of them. They know that he's gaining power to completely bulldoze swathes of the federal workforce.

God, I wish he would start playing this song at his rallies.

That's definitely where the Second Amendment arguments for protecting against tyranny fall apart really quick.

I have no problem with gun ownership and permissive laws.

But being armed to the teeth as an individual only helps you become either a martyr or a terrorist who takes a few down with you when the State come for you.

I never hear any plausible Step 2 on what happens next if you miraculously survive Step 1.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 8 ▼
– joeyjojoshabadoo1 8 points 2 years ago +8 / -0

It's similar to how gun ownership deters burglary. It's not necessary that every house has a gun in it. It's that potential burglars know that any given house could, and they don't know which ones do.

This is how robust adherence to 2A serves as a preventative to tyranny. It's not that Bob who's mad at his water bill can take on the entire government and win with what he's got stashed in the garage. It's that a potentially tyrannous government doesn't know what sort of force can be brought to bear against it if it oversteps.

I think this Mar-a-lago nonsense is a clumsy attempt to gauge this. They went straight for the King, but he wasn't even there. What did they get? They got no response, which gives them no information, and they got an empty, if pretty, house. It's going to make a lot of people super mad though, myself included. I view this as some asshole tracking muddy boots on my nice carpet. It's going to get accounted for.

I understand how a well-armed populace could theoretically deter property crimes.

But it really doesn't do much to deter a tyrannical government that doesn't care about the lives of their brownshirts.

And again, what's Step 2 after the standoff for the common man?

No one ever talks about that part.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– joeyjojoshabadoo1 6 points 2 years ago +6 / -0

Well most of the point is that it doesn't get to the point of standoff, unless the party trespassed upon can be sufficiently "othered," like the Waco or Ruby Ridge folks, and they tried to do with the Bundy family in Oregon but didn't quite get there.

Step 2 depends, and that "common man," if he think he's a likely target for the regime, better start considering what sort of communal backing he's got. If the ATF shows up, can he call his sheriff and will that sheriff have his back? If the DoA says his runoff is unacceptable and his business is closed, does he have local authorities to challenge that decision?

That's not a new kind of fight. We've been in this fight forever. For the most part, the centralized authority has been winning. But we do appear to be hitting an inflection point which could turn the tide. I can't imagine it doesn't. I could be wrong, and we're all fucked if I am, but I think we've hit just about the amount of ridiculousness from our centralized authorities that we can bear.

But it really doesn't do much to deter a tyrannical government that doesn't care about the lives of their brownshirts.

The brownshirts don't want to get shot, and if they have to wonder whether they will be, they won't go as far for a tyrannical government. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn talks about this in The Gulag Archipelago, how things might have been different if the enforcers had been afraid they wouldn't come home.

And any government is going to think twice about doing something that might cause a shootout, if only for the optics.

You can't take down an army by yourself and guns can't do much against tanks etc but the point is not to make it easy for them. When it's easy for them they get a lot worse.

Deterrence is important.

The 2nd amendment is the nuclear option of the citizenry. If the government goes maximum ape and starts "dealing with" its political opponents, the citizenry will revolt. Yes the government has APCs, tanks, and other weapons of mass destruction....but that doesn't stop the random joe with a rifle from putting a bullet between the eyes of [insert politically related individual here].

The chaos and pandemonium that would be caused is immeasurable, and realistically speaking it wouldn't take much of the population to cause an extreme headache for the government. If an issue shows up on the homefront, that is significant enough to require recalling our forces abroad, that will have massive geopolitical ramifications, ramifications that the government really does not want to deal with. Combine this with general unrest driving productivity into the floor and pandemonium throughout, and you swiftly end up in a fall of rome scenario.

  • Russia

  • Georgia
  • India
  • Uganda
  • Zambia
  • Latvia
  • Venezuela
  • Azerbaijan
  • Fiji

All fine upstanding democracies without a hint of corruption lol.

They couldn't get a criminal referral out of the Jan 6 inquisition, and it didn't gain any traction with the American public either, so they are onto the next smear campaign.

I reckon they may have overplayed their hand this time...even normies will start to see this as political persecution, and this will just further mobilize Trump's voter base.

Somehow I think the USA will avoid getting put on those lists. I noticed after the election that the media was careful not to call Trump an opposition leader, or to even hint that the election was disputed at all. Shepard Smith cut him off in the middle of his "it's not over yet" speech. Besides sending dueling electors to the Senate, the US has no legal mechanism for a disputed election. It can't happen. Trusted local election authorities announce the results, the media confirms, and the Senate rubber stamps it.

Speaking as a Floridian, I'm pretty dang sure they let this happen. We don't have so many highways that this convoy didn't get noticed. It happened several times with Antifa/BLM, that as soon as they got going, a convocation of sheriffs put together a concern, met the threat on the road, pulled them aside and said "It's time for you to turn around and go home." This was in North Florida. There's a lot of miles between North and Middle and South.

There's probably close to a thousand...uh...men's social clubs, within 50 miles of the route they had to take to get to Mar-A-Lago. This could've been stopped. This could've been a Fort Sumter moment. It wasn't, and I think right now that's a very good thing, but the infrastructure is there to have prevented this.

I am so incensed at this, and I think that's the point. I'd grab my [redacted] myself and head down there, but no word has gone around that it's time to do so. Hot blood aside, that's probably a right call. Whatever the federalis were going for here, I doubt they got what they were looking for, and the tension just ratcheted up a whole bunch. They really have no idea what they're fucking with here.
