Cool, accordign to her we should ban obesity as well and mandate forced exercising for all the fat people. About 300k people die from obesity each year and surely no one wants that.

Impossible to enforce, and impossible to justify from a legal perspective.

This will be fought against, the costs to employers will be astronomical both in payment as well as time lost.

They don't give a shit about employee rights but they care about spending money and spending work time.

Employers won't have to spend a dime.

Email: " u vaxxd bro?"

if yes: "great, send us your card woth serial number and you're all set"

if no: "get tested on your dime or its the boot"

They can't force the employee to pay for the testing without being put at risk for a civil lawsuit.

Courts: "unvaxxed get fucked"

The federal government can't make this kind of broad mandate without opening itself up to lawsuits, yet here we are.

Actually several courts have ruled against various lockdown measures in the past year. So the odds are in your favor when taking this to the courts.

Under the same laws that prevent employers from charging you for equipment they are supposed to be supplying you with for safety. I know of no employer that charges you the price to take required drug tests for employment.

OSHA is supposedly the entity that will enforce the mandate.

They wont be spending, but they will be losing lots and lots of money.

You have forgot about the silent majority. A General Strike is already being broadcasted. The government wants to fuck with business to fuck with The People, we push back on the businesses, then they go at gov with lawyers. Gov loses because their mandate has no Constitutional muster. Hence, dump the responsibility onto OSHA, so when it all backfires, those in OSHA are holding the bag of evil. If OSHA is not evil, they will take the administration to task at the SCOTUS. If OSHA acts anti-Constitutional in their protocol(s), everyone in the country, business and people, lose their prosperity and livelihoods. No one, nobody, will be safe when the money stops flowing.

Remember, these people in these administrative positions are already supposed to know the detriment that comes from such policy.. So they are either ignoring it to see how far they can go, or they are dumb AF. I just don't think the later is possible.

We are currently playing a game of Chicken with Big Business. We won't have jobs, and they won't have enough employees to function.

Big Business is betting that the bailouts and loans they will get from the government will keep them afloat long enough to outlast us. They are hoping that we will "blink" first and starve before they become insolvent.

It is our responsibility to prove them wrong.

The problem is with each, and every Democrat voter.

Yes, 100% this. Ron Paul often says you cannot vote a libertarian society into existence. It has to come from the ground up, from an educated, moral populace. Every scumbag out there still voting for the Dems are the deadweight stopping this from happening. We cannot have a successful society with them in it.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 49 ▼
– Skeptic_Conservative 49 points 4 years ago +49 / -0

He doesn't, he is actively counting on people being forced to comply while the courts struggle to play catch up.

This is a deeply cynical expedient approach to defeat the obstacles the constitution has in place to prevent this very thing, and he's doing it without the support of congress. Makes it both better and worse, but this is nothing short of exploiting the system for immediate political ends, with no regard for the long term consequences.

They do not care.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 38 ▼
– Skeptic_Conservative 38 points 4 years ago +38 / -0

Also, this is another classic leftist move of flood the field with distractions to try and pivot away from a 'bad press cycle', and hope no one notices the other hand behind the curtain. Or in this case, the pending butchery the Taliban will be enacting on American citizens and others in Kabul as the 20th anniversary of 9/11 approaches.

And the AG's lawsuit against Texas.

The games they're playing with the recall in California.

the unvetted Afghans just waltzing off holding facilities in the states.

Joe getting heckled in public in blue areas.

Larry Elder getting assaulted by a racist white liberal.

They're just greedily devouring so much right now that it's obscene. This can't hold. Our system is not supposed to be abused like this.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 29 ▼
– lgbtqwtfbbq [S] 29 points 4 years ago +29 / -0

All the activist organizations who would normally flood the system with lawsuits to completely stop anything like this from going into effect are on board with it.

Any organization on our side is going to go with the weakest form of argument which is that the Federal government can't mandate it but if every single company in the US "independently" comes up with this brilliant idea to mandate it it's OK.

Because no one that matters will oppose it. It's not about what power is on paper, it's that the only way to challenge it is to get enough people and a strong enough movement to start erecting guillotines.

Or weekly tests

Now watch businesses shift the cost to the employee to force them to get jabbed.
Biden could make it absolute LAW. It still won't be constitutional, and it will still be unenforceable.
Anyone who is ok with the authoritarian nightmare we're entering is an absolute retard. They should openly be called out as such.
Scared of the damn sniffles ffs. It's the vax idiots that are likely causing the mutations, just as they have when every Corona vax in history was attempted and they had to stop because it was a disaster.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 17 ▼
– Skeptic_Conservative 17 points 4 years ago +17 / -0

Oh, it but it's so much easier to make the private businesses the bad guy. Make them responsible for enforcing the federal mandate.

This is absolutely classic. It's 'clever' politicking, don't you know, to make others do your dirty work.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 10 ▼
– Happily_Grim 10 points 4 years ago +10 / -0

Exactly. That's what it's all about. The Government won't be the one to take the blowback — as they should. It will be business owners forced to be their surrogates and do their bidding.
They'll make it so that employees who refuse the vaccine are responsible for the cost of their weekly test, and it will essentially be a crazy tax, feeding into the stupid Covid machine even more, meant to demoralize and force them into submission because they can't afford it.
It's evil through and through.

of course thats how politics works. Put the pressure on others so you get distracted and don't go after who is actually responsible. Same way they made random small businesses enforce their mandates, but the problem is most employees in those larger companies have no leverage compared to customers.

You need to talk to your coworkers and get a feel for where they stand. Find as many as you can who aren't on-board with this and make it known to your employer that if they enforce this they're not going to be able to function.

One thing companies absolutely will do is make you think that you're the only person in the company who isn't on board with something. That's generally how they win: by making it seem like it's you versus everyone else. You need to let them know that you know that isn't the case.

Edit: Talk to people in person if you can and as much as you can. If you must communicate electronically, don't use company platforms (eg. company email, phone, or chat/message groups) as they can be shut down and may be monitored by your employer.

It’s weird to see all this talk about vaccine cards or protests. Just don’t do it. Refuse to take it. If even a minority of people simply said no then their employers would buckle because they can’t lose 30% of their staff and be ok.

I don’t get all the hand wringing. Say no and see what happens. I’d like to see them try and actually forcibly jab us. Then it’s on.

I hate to say it, and I'm sure this will glow like the sun, but people need to STOP BEING AFRAID OF BEING FINED/CHARGED WITH STUPID SHIT.

I'm not saying to commit violence. I'm not saying that you should be aiming to go to jail, but if people continue to be so scared of the state, or of stepping on official toes, that we literally do NOTHING, do you really think this is going to stop?? Do you really think they're EVER going to be satisfied?? Of course not.

Stop being scared of laws that were put in place to oppress and control you, and fight back. Don't do it alone, but don't just... Give in, either, because that's how they win.

Personally, if I have to go down fighting this (in Australia, so it is literally worse), then I am willing to do that. If you're not, fine, but don't come whining to those of us who stood up to it, when your back is against the wall.

If you look at the very early vaccine cards from December there was less consistency in how they were printed. Not everyone was using the "official" CDC ones, some hospitals pre-printed their own so the nurses didn't have to fill everything in by hand, etc...

If a card had a hospital logo on it instead of a CDC logo, it might look unusual but not outside the realm of possibility. "[Shrugs] That's what they gave me"

Mine also has "or Clinic Site" on the same line. On the back mine has 09/03/20 as the date and this is from 08/17/20 so it could just be a different revision. Additionally this one has the HHS logo slightly cut off and the MI is below the C in CDC while on mine the MI is below the D. On the back the VAERS paragraph is worded differently. It's probably just a different revision but someone should find a real card with the 08/17/20 date to check against.

I don't care if you don't want to fight back, and are happy to let this all "wash over you", but some of the rest of us are trying to fight back here, and your "demoralisation"/shitting on anything anyone suggests is not helping.

Seriously, what's your solution?? I don't see you offering anything in this thread exact "muh doom, best just live with it"...

Sorry, but come on. I'm depressed as fuck, and even I'm far, far more determined to fight this than you apparently are, at least going off of this thread...

The only point I can see is you are trying, is to shit on anyone that does not hold your values. Which seem starkly opposite of the upholding of the thought that government can not be intrusive.

And you have asserted that your values are "obedience". The only people that do that are a) scared of government b) working for entities surrounding the propaganda c) an edgyshitlord that has no understanding of the consequence of fucking with a society that likes freedom d) and are completely unaware of the silent majority.

An obedient bootlicker is how you have come across in this thread. Prove me wrong.

Thing is, we know this was all cooked up to take our money. If you are not in the states, you don't have a foot in this game and understand what is going on at the labor level and that many employers see they have a very low number of vaccinated. So what the government is going to do is strip you of your ability to prosper, if you will not obey and take a drug that has no long term human study... That's called Eugenics.

You are defending Eugenics.

I suppose I didn't think about this before, but it's literally in your name, isn't it..?

I think we've discussed this before, elsewhere and on other topics...

I guess I'm just more angry than blackpilled on this particular issue. Perhaps you are more... Literally nihilistic, than I, here. I'm not afraid to go down with this ship.

But, you do you, I guess. Demoralisation... Is one way of looking at this. Just not the path I choose to go down. If you feel it's enlightening others, or pointing out their flawed legal logic, that's fine, too. I just don't agree with your methods, here, personally.

But, you helped challenge my own "pits of despair", before, so I have to at least give you respect for that, and admit that I know less about this particular legal instrument, which is not really relevant to my own personal circumstance anyway, than you appear to.

The expansive rules mandate that all employers with more than 100 workers require them to be vaccinated or test for the virus weekly, affecting about 80 million Americans. And the roughly 17 million workers at health facilities that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid also will have to be fully vaccinated.

Biden is also signing an executive order to require vaccination for employees of the executive branch and contractors who do business with the federal government — with no option to test out. That covers several million more workers.

This vaccine mandate for every company with more than 100 employees is a huge violation of the Constitution.

SCOTUS needs to strike this down ASAP.

Step 1 is a circuit court injunction. Anyone taking bets on which circuit gets there first? 5th? 11th? 8th? 6th?

This might help you out. PDF warning.

Also Robert Barnes who works with Viva Frei does a lot of content around the legal aspects of these vaccine mandates on locals. You might be able to find help and possibly network with one of the subscribers to fine a lawyer to help you out in your state.

step 2: Federal involvement in literally every industry...or did we already have that in place?

Yep. I had that thought as well. They'll start sending people out to buy things from said companies without declaring that their Fed Gov and then entrap them.

The good thing is, this is now the final battle, no more hemming and hawing. They win or they die. Based on all the research I've done over the past year, they'll die.

The exemptions are all just the most powerful unions. And people say unions aren’t good for anything. Proven wrong again, libertarians

Similar or less on vaccination rules, not connected to the EU. I think the EU eventually takes Poland and Hungary down.

Because they're giving away free land to foreign nationals who settle it for 5 years. It is an option is all.

I believe that land giveaway was limited to Russians and Russian expats; and the land available is in the Russian far east, also known as Siberia.

It is almost impossible for foreigners to get permanent residency in Russia, even if married to a Russian national.
