How about you don't just open your legs for a fling and focus on a relationship? When even women's biology is tailored to enable you gain deeper bonds with one person through sex, and yet you deny that for lots of flings with strangers, is it a coincidence their mind is so warped to think abortion is a necessity?

I wonder how the suffragettes would respond to learning that their movement would devolve into celebrating baby murder.

It's not just abortions, STDs are on the rise.

I'd love watching them pulling a "my body, my choice" on gonorrhea

Yep. Feminism gave women the ability to roll around in the proverbial mud like pigs if they so wish. Unfortunately many of them don't realize that this doesn't mean they should actually do so.

They want everyone to forget that they were all about forcing the vaccine on everyone, and thereby deprive them of actual autonomy.

They think forcing the gay commie agenda on normal people who want nothing to do with it is a good, and requiring anyone but Christian White men to take responsibility for their actions is an evil.

They are perfectly consistent.

That was when I heard that anti-vaxxers who used “my body, my choice” were misogynists trying to co-opt a feminist slogan. I stopped being pro choice at that point.

The vaccine seems to have led to even more dead babies on top of all of the dead babies from abortions, so it all looks pretty coherent to me.

My opinion has become: "I support women having the same parental rights as men. If they don't want to support a baby, they can keep it in their pants."

If I were to ever support abortion, it would be required to come with a provision for men that they can unilaterally decline all rights and responsibilities to the baby during the same period the woman has a choice to abort it.

I still don't think it's right, but if I were to ever accept a compromise, that provision is non-negotiable. There's also a zero percent chance that would ever be accepted by the other party, they'd go all Impossible1 male genocide before they'd accept that.

Yeah, because the general public can't fathom the following:

  1. Holding women accountable
  2. Women keeping their legs closed
  3. Using protection such as birth control/etc
  4. Not murdering babies

The mass-hypnosis that caused the majority of the public to believe:

  • a fetus isn't a person,
  • abortion doesn't kill anything,
  • that murdering a literally innocent fellow human that hasn't even breathed it's first breath (let alone done anything wrong) is civil rights,

is a thing of wonder.

I really get when it's the fringe cases...which is like what? Last I heard in the single digit percent? They just want abortion for the convenience. Every single day more and more murders happen and everyone just looks away.

When they believed it was convenient for their cause (completely unrestricted abortion across all 9 months), Planned Parenthood proudly proclaimed that most abortions (99%) were for economic or social reasons, and less than 1% as a result of violence (rape, incestuous or otherwise).

pro-choicers would win

I love these little posts where it shows just how ignorant they are on the topic.

For the majority, abortion is a topic they recluse themselves from and don't take a stance either way. But what's interesting is that a significant portion of males who support abortion do so solely because "it doesn't effect them", meaning it's not at all a principled stance. However, even with those numbers, the two sides are more often than not pretty equal in numbers when it comes down to votes/surveys. The key difference being of course that most of the pro-life crowd are principled stances that have thought about the issue at length, while the pro-abortion crowd has a significant portion that simply go with the flow of the media backed message.

If it was an informed vote, pro-choicers would lose pretty much every time.

Pro choice is the easy way out, don't think about the damage to your soul or if you don't believe in that to your morals you are doing. I could never live with myself if it were me making the choice to abort, it's absolutely tragic. I still remember that one post saying she came out of that abortion clinic like a lion, these people are undoubtedly and unquestionably evil. Can't even think about the life they destroyed.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– AccountWasFree 2 points 2 years ago +2 / -0

I actually feel sorry for them. Because I know that for the vast majority of those "lions", it's a coping projection. They know they fucked up. They know they ended an innocent. And they need to convince others that they made the right choice, so that they can convince themselves they made the right choice. Because otherwise, they'd not be able to sleep at night. Someone who is fine with their actions doesn't need to seek the approval of the masses.

Abortion regret is massive. Even the ones that say they don't regret it, regret it deep down. There's only a small sliver that actually don't, that are truly evil. And while those that lie help spread more evil, I feel sorry for them because of the predicament they put themselves in. Not enough for forgiveness, but in the same way I feel sorry for how a junky has put themselves in that situation, hoping they can get better while never forgiving the actions they took (though the obvious difference between the two examples is that one requires someone to take a life, the other doesn't).

If they are really regretful they can be saved. Actually, legit get out campaigning, tell the world not to repeat the mistake. I can forgive people if they don't perpetuate the circle of death by saving others from the mistake. I get where your compassion is coming from. I just don't know if I could forgive people like that if they don't speak out. There probably are and those women I have sympathy for, I don't know how it is to be a woman so I can only guess. Losing a child is already horrible, making the choice to lose the child has got to be utterly soul crushing.

I just don't know if I could forgive people like that if they don't speak out.

Well that's the thing, I don't think I can forgive them either, but I can at least be understanding and sorry for the predicament, even if they put themselves in that situation. Which is why I also don't blame any individual for not wanting to constantly bring up something which could be legitimately traumatic (and I hate the fact using that word makes me feel like it's SocJus language when they've just twisted it so much). For many that don't speak up or even try to defend their abortions, I think it's a coping mechanism to avoid the reality of having to come to terms with the reality that they chose to end an innocent life, because having to face such a reality could utterly destroy them from the inside.

Flirt with guy: (Full Autonomy)

Go on date with guy: (Full Autonomy)

Guy invites you to his place: (Full Autonomy)

You come in to his place: (Full Autonomy)

You make out with him: (Full Autonomy)

You suggest having sex: (Full Autonomy)

You and him have birth control: (Full Autonomy)

You have consensual sex: (Full Autonomy)

Sex conceives child: (Full Autonomy)

The argument of the pro-abortionist is that after all of these steps during which a woman could, at any point, turn around and refuse, they agree, they accept a risk of pregnancy. Then, when that risk turns out to be a child, it's 100% a result of their own autonomous actions, they must deal with the consequence of that action, they reframe it as "Forced Birth". Naw - you don't have to give birth if you don't want to - simply turn around at any one of those previous points.

But the fact of the matter is the argument is distilled down to "I want sex to have absolutely no repercussions" and that's simply not compatible with reality.

The picture is wrong, the second door should read, "Let women decide but men are still responsible."

Honestly the infantilization of women runs deeper than laws or culture. I think society will always give women a pass for throwing their kids away because on some level no one sees them as truly responsible for anything. A single mother is by definition a victim and therefore no one feels bad when she kills her bastards. They only matter if a man cares about them.

That's why I think Roe v. Wade lasted so long despite being transparently ridiculous; society needs a fig leaf to lay over the harsh reality of female autonomy. They decide, but we always pay.

I had a discussion with an anti abortion lady at a rally once. "My body my choice" Okay, which part of your body is a fetus? "It's in my body, it's a clump of cells, it's not yet alive." So are bacteria in your gut. They're single cell organisms. You know what happens when they die? So will you. We cannot digest without them.

I swear, those close enough to listen crowded around me and started chanting in unison until I went away. It was absolutely bizarre to watch.

My problem with pro-life is that most people having children in modern Western societies are people I don't want to be having children, nor do I care one bit about their children at all. The people I want having children aren't getting abortions. That to me indicates that abortions are a good thing. Abortions stop the people I don't want having children from having children. Children for the sake of children is not a good thing. That's how you end up degrading your society. We should only be promoting quality children by quality parents in order to progress our civilization instead of degrade it. Until the structure of our society is designed such that we have more good people having abortion than we have bad people having abortions, I see no good behind banning abortions. Banning abortions only leads to a worse outcome for society not a better one.

Which is a very, very small number of abortions as it is. It's always a tragedy and in those cases I get abortion even though the child is entirely innocent. At least do it early, don't wait until its almost certainly viable outside of the womb.

The gay commies fixed the problem by re-classifying babies as not people. That is a side effect them them classifying anyone who doesn't support the gay commie agenda as not people.

The responsibility for a baby prevents a woman from spending 100% of her resources on being an "activist" therefor it is an impediment to the gay commie agenda.

Socialism is actually a very effective method of government. It has lots of advantages and can really deliver on those benefits.

It just has an upper boundary of population of about 300 people. After that planned economies become pretty shit, and the ability to allocate resources efficiently starts diminishing sharply.

I point out that this is an almost direct parallel to autocracy or despotism.

So I guess Marxists strive to reduce the population to an efficient, manageable level?
