They also didn't care about Chris Dorner, a black police officer who upon seeing a superior officer commit an act of absurd brutality against a mentally ill man did everything procedural to try and get them reprimanded. And when they sided with the female officer and retaliated by calling him a liar and got him in major trouble, he eventually snapped and just straight up started killing LAPD officers in revenge.
