He should file for a change of venue under the grounds that "the judge is acting like a nigger".

I hope this gets overturned. Isn’t that the point of the first amendment? How does the concept of a hate crime not go against freedom of speech?

Yes and it does. The legal penalty on government employees for violating the constitution should be public execution.

I'd take it even further. Anyone who even proposes a bill that is in opposition to the Bill of Rights or attempts to put a restriction on those amendments should be immediately executed. No need for a trial.

"Is that your name on the bill? Yes? Guilty"

The problem with this plan is, who decides you’ve violated the constitution?

If you’re about to say a judge decides, stop and think: what happens when a judge says that Trumps border wall violates the constitution? What happens when a judge says that restricting abortion violates the constitution?

No doubt but the idea of a hate crime goes against everything this country stands for. But like you said when people in power despise the country then it shouldn’t be a surprise

Typical leftists are gonna butt in and say “but…hate speech ISNT free speech”

The first amendment is to protect the government from censoring your speech and punishing you for speaking out. This charge does exactly that and is yet another reason why “hate crimes” as a whole need to be tossed out of every courtroom as it is just politically charged nonsense to punish white people for wrongthink. Burn down a nigger’s home? I believe that’s arson, hate crime should not matter in the eyes of the court as it is protected by the first amendment. You are one hundred percent allowed to hate people. Don’t let the government tell you otherwise.

Also idiots in the replies are conflating and ignoring that there's two specific charges on his police sheet, Disorderly Conduct and Hate Crime. It's possible his behavior could still be considered disorderly conduct, so people are relishing his fine or imprisonment as just desserts while ignoring the fact that hate crime is unconstitutional.

My guess if he appeals is they will only fine him for disorderly and drop the hate crime charge so it can't get overturned. The process is the punishment.

Here is the video of him explaining his version of what happened: https://x.com/leaderoftheUSA/status/1818331662364647607

About the only argument against free speech that works is pointing out porn isn’t speech. It is weird that you can’t say nigger but you can post millions of videos available to minors of people fisting each other and even charge the minors for it. Then you prove they’re minors by asking them if they are minors and believing their answer.

Nvm that if "hate speech" means something other than what it appears to mean at face-value, it's a totally arbitrary concept. Clearly it doesn't just mean any speech that expresses hatred, because leftists are some of the most hateful goblins in existence.

▲ 38 ▼

Good for him. Take that shit to the Supreme Court and get all hate speech laws tossed from the books.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 14 ▼
– misogynegro 14 points 1 year ago +14 / -0

SCOTUS has already ruled that "hate speech" laws and government policies of any kind are unconstitutional. These gremlins just do it anyways, because once you're having to fight the system, one tiny little technical error can be used to punish you, even if they can't get you on what they originally tried to nail you for in the beginning. And this kind of fuckery can even include shit like making it impossible to show up to court on time, or requiring you to be in two places at once, or not notifying you of a summons, etc.

There's a reason why the powers that be have made up a false history of lynching that depicts it as just something white people liked to do to black people for funsies. Politicians and their ilk used to be afraid of the rope, it was the people's way of making an example out of bastards that abuse their power, and unlike the guillotine it doesn't represent commie psychosis.

I doubt they would even without a ton of controversy, Matal v. Tam is a case where the Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY ruled in favor of protecting hate speech. Anyone who gets charged with it deserves to let the court know that they are trying to undermine the constitution and should be disbarred

There shouldn't be any such thing as a "hate" crime. It's either a crime or it isn't.

And since they haven't repealed the 1st amendment (yet) saying anything like this isn't a crime.

In your attempt to adhere to leftist blasphemy laws, you actually ended up mistelling the story. Instead of just typing out "nigger," you type out "N-Word" and therefore make the reader think that the person in question said "N Word" and not "nigger." If you weren't acting like a nigger, your title would convey proper information.
