It's an improv sport and the best dancing team wins, rather than the one that scores the most goals. 🤣

They're all soap operas with nineties action elements.

Tyler Sheridan is a peddler of woke slop. Some of his movies and shows have interesting elements, in that they explore gritty social issues and realities, however the narratives are invariably hijacked and injected with current day woke garbage.

Wind River: about sexual assault on reservations, primarily depicting white aggressors, whereas it's much more likely that Native American men are to blame themselves.

Yellowstone: amongst many other woke-slop story elements, the previous mentioned theme is again explored here. This time it's once again white perpetrators, despite a 40% rate of domestic abuse in Native American reservations. Sure, the white devil did it all.

Sicario: about drug traffic and human smuggling across the Mexican-American border. Been some time since I saw it but the main character and POV protagonist is a stick-figure white woman working in an elite field unit. Sure.

All of his shows and movies are riddled with woke rot talking points and are meant to stealh-cultivate a guilty conscience amongst white men.

Typical that most of his works have men as their target audience. Can't have guy entertainment without a woke lecture.

The world could have used a decade of economic stability before the introduction of AI tech, though. It's been nothing but one crisis after another. Putin should have been smacked down instantly in Ukraine. A decade of relative stability would have made the world a lot more prosperous. Birthrates wouldn't have plummeted either, decreasing the artificial 'need' for unwanted immigrants.

It's even more messed up when you consider that those dirt poor third world countries paid for the medical training and education of these medical professionals. One of the reasons why richer Western countries are roping in foreign medical professionals is to avoid making those costs themselves.

So not only is Canuckstan stealing from lesser off countries, but they're also depriving the inhabitants of these countries of essential personnel, resulting in misery and death.

Kind of messed up, as well.

Those nurses most likely came from third world countries in desperate need of medical personnel. And instead they were lured away by Canadian organizations, leaving hundreds of thousands of the poorest of the poor in a lurch.

Season 1 was typical DEI writing. The lead character is Hispanic, the blond evil lady villain has a side-story about a male imperial administrator falling short (female competent/male incompetent dynamic). Too many boss ladies to count. Two murderous lesbian rebels, interracial couple. Some ridiculous side-story about a hyper-advanced prison that got defeated by a leaky faucet. A boyfriend becoming jealous of his overly competent rebel girlfriend (and her relationship with her ex) and becoming a traitor (or something).

It goes on and on.

Looks like the type that would call herself an astronaut after being launched into a dumpster by the bouncer she decided to spit in his face after they demanded she pay the cougar cover charge.

It really is, though. I was genuinely surprised so many would tune in to this garbage.

According to the link in my post, they throw away the heart of the story and added a lot of fluff, including 'The Little Mermaid' elements, in order to get a full movie out of it, (e.g. a bullying backstory on Jaskier.) Whether the mermaids are similar, I don't know.

That's both hilarious, as well, as disappointing. The NYTimes needs to fail.

With every female Lego figure looking like a trender. That's the least you could expect from them. :')

the prices are ridiculous.

And then some.

2
LastRights 2 points ago +2 / -0

haha, yeah, they would have probably insisted on including a DEI character in each Lego set.

160 bucks for a pipe. Bit expensive, indeed.

It's funny but it's also an indication that corporate accounts shouldn't be posting on X.

The crew who flew to space this week on an automated flight by Blue Origin were brave and glam, but you cannot identify as an astronaut. They do not meet the FAA astronaut criteria.

Someone fire this hump.

This entire family and entourage is both violent, as well as low-IQ. Everything about them screams: Chris Rock has something to say about you.

Imagine still trying to pass 'Captain' Marvel off as an innocuous character, rather than the feminist potato that she is. The last time they had enough of 'Miss Marvel', they put her in a coma for twenty years or so and gave her powers to Rogue.

When all is said and done, and the Austrians have went through their involuted moral equivocations to rationalize the current situation, the Muslims that moved to Austria went their for only one simple thing: themselves.

The Austrians are faced with an unrelenting tide of opportunistic selfishness of foreign interlopers and their system is buckling under the weight of it. :')
