Pretty sure it says something along those lines in a letter replying to a fan in regards to the origin of the orcs, but I think it is something closer to

"Evil cannot create life, it can only corrupt what God already made"

And I'm sure the exact wording varies. By the looks of it, probably what Tolkiengateway calls "letter 153", but the Tolkien estate seems to have done a thorough job of scrubbing that from the internet, so I can't say for certain. Probably published in the History of Middle Earth or something.

DnD forums were the first place I even heard of the term "non-binary" heard it there probably a half decade earlier than anywhere else. I knew of the concept of several genders from anthropology, but it was always frame as a culture having a specified set(not being able to make up your own, and ours had two that were biologically based on sex), and it was always on the person wanting to be a supernumery gender to convince the rest of the community they were that. "Misgendering" was not a thing.

The best plan might be to deny Israel support

I am not inherently anti-Israel, but in the last year, maybe two, but especially the last, it has become increasingly clear they need to be cut off cold turkey and be told the make their own way until they learn to be a team player, and they are not the star player on any team.

Any benefit we used to get from there being and angry chihuahua in the Middle East has been counter acted by their constant sabotage of active negotiations. The chihuahua needs to learn to sit or learn how to catch its own rats for food.

As a side note, It has also become increasingly clear that they are using the US as a dumping ground for Arabs.

But due to this becoming increasingly clear, it is even more jarring that congress has been trying to force us closer to Israel. Part of this is lobbying like AIPAC but a good part of it is possibly old fashioned not being in touch with their constituents.(As people were frankly more pro-Israel two years ago than they are now, and not just on this site)

Texas voters just ousted three incumbent congressman in the primaries, and all three were AIPAC's donation preference. (Tony Gonzales by alot) Hopefully that at least sends a message that AIPAC dollars are not a silver bullet and they at least need to try to satisfy the actual voters.

Oh, did it fall apart again? I assumed it would, but my gut told me it would last a few weeks this time.

Their reporters consistently called every horde of mass arsonists "demonstrators" or "demonstrations" until January of 2021.

Mood swings read as instability/risk, not depth.

This baffles me, how could any self aware person who has thought about it at all not realize this?

I thought the only reasons this was done were because

A) Some women genuinely couldn't control themselves. (PMDD, I've had uncut female dogs, they definitely can have uncontrollable moodswings, I have heard horses are the same. Cats are completely different.)

B) They know they can get away with it and it is fun. (Anthropological culturally linked dissociative disorder PMS, basically women mimicking PMDD whether they are aware or unaware of doing it)

PS: Kudos to you if you didn't just copy the subtitle file or something.

Making nukes isn't hard. Refining U235 and prospecting the ore is. There is a reason so few countries had managed it even before the NNPT. Not to mention making a decent delivery mechanism, though Iran seems to have managed there.

Refuse to wear gay shirt = horrible

Refuse to stand up for the national anthem = so brave.

Going to be honest. This war sucked. This deal also sucks. Especially sucks for Gulf States. The only way I would be okay with 300 billion in tribute being sent to Iran is if it came from Israel and Israeli citizens(including duelies) who donated to our politicians, since they are the ones who refused to not attack Iran.

And as Hegseth put it, they knew Iran would attack everyone if Israel did, which considering how they attacked all the Gulf States when the US and Israel attacked, Hegseth was almost certainly right. We all know we should cut Israel completely off for it, but considering that Congress's response to this deal while it was being negotiated (presumably leaked to them by Israel themselves) was to draft legislature to require Trump and the military industrial complex to share information with them, we all know it isn't going to happen.

Not surprising to me that a tranny found something on a hookup site.

Catfishers gotta catfish somewhere.

Central to the breach is the exposure of a private matchmaking platform, dating.dialog.org.

They used a hookup platform for this?

Swiss hacktivist maia arson crimew first discovered the exposed directory embedded in the organization's website code.

And it was just a hidden URL or something rather than a real security wall?

Don't forget Ezra Klein's pro-Obama JournoList google group that operated from 2007 until exposed in 2010.

Use tor while you can if you haven't already. scored doesn't block it on the scored.co domain like it does on the kia2 domain.

As to your question, maybe, MAYBE, Japan, but the forces at work are pushing hard to make it as bad as anywhere else..

PS: instead of running

tor

at the command line, you can run

tor exitnodes {is}

To run with a preferred exit country. is is Iceland, relatively decent internet laws as of a year ago, and pretty close by as far as latency goes.

Anu created a land called Babylon he made it great on earth, and founded an everlasting kingdom in it, whose foundations are laid so solidly as those of heaven and earth; then Anu called me by name, Hammurabi, to bring about the rule of righteousness in the land, to destroy the wicked and the evil-doers; so that the strong should not harm the weak;

Very beginning of the Code of Hammurabi first known written code of laws, in what I would call a preamble. I'm sure it varies between translations. This one is apparently Hillsdale College 2020.

They empty the cans continuously at every sporting event I have been too. I generally do not see more than a few scattered cups, the overwhelming majority of Texans, at least, throw their shit away. The notion that most people don't seems absurd, people would trip over all the garbage on their way out of the narrow seat walkways.
