Native tribes were engaged in warfare, occassional butchering of other tribes, etc, just like white/black/asian/etc peoples were when their ancestors lived in tribes.
Some native tribes were delighted for white people to show up and provide them with weapons to destroy their neighbors who they had been in endless warfare with. Which the same thing those europeans ancestors had been doing themselves a few hundred or thousand years before that.

Did you see the news about the Lascaux cave paintings? Ever notice the dots interspersed amongst the paintings of the wildlife? Apparently, they were learning to keep track of breeding seasons. Though back then, they likely would have taken full advantage of it, rather than treating it as hands-off time.
Anyway, Natives here can claim up to ten cows or bison from the government. All they have to do is fucking ask for it, basically. (The ex and I were going to actually go into cattle this way with a buddy, but the rent-to-own land deal we had with these insane old pig farmers turned out to be a long-running scam.)
Go to any other part of the world and you will find indigenous groups who were conquered. Not that I condone violence against anyone but for most of the world’s history slavery and land conquest was quite common and there where massacres of whites (granted woke historians don’t have issues with that). We need to stop teaching this as if the rest of the world was done peaceful paradise and America is unique in that aspect.
How many indigenous groups did the Romans wipe out or take over? I know Mansa Musa took over territory to expand his empire. In one of Sowell’s books he talks about how Shaka Zulu was doing the same thing to neighboring tribes that the British did when they defeated him.

Yep. Lots of history. I live in Texas now but was born and raised in Oklahoma and we had to learn a lot about Native Americans and sometimes had tribal representatives speak with our class. Definitely a lot of warrior history and certain tribes were more powerful due to the same land conquest that was common across the world.
