They better get a handle on that retard before she scuttles the game.
Is literally every community manager just a Marxist commissar?
It's a job that attracts them. Little actual work in exchange for huge amounts of power over people's ability to express themselves.
Are there any franchises that have community managers that aren't woke faggots? I've never seen a CM that adds value and getting rid of them entirely along with their tranny janny cousins would improve things immensely.
Who the fuck needs HR or a CM? Pointless make-work job for useless people.
"she" is actually a tranny
Are you sure? Could just be an ugly fat chick virtue signaling.
Given the Trans Rights thing I'd wager so.
its kinda hard to tell between butch dykes and troons these days but the troon flag is a dead giveaway
Yes.
They're all completely idiotic, up their own ass, and could be replaced in a heartbeat by thousands of others who are identical and no one would notice any different behavior. The cult has a strong grip on people.
What's worst is 99.9% of the time never actually play the games they represent the community of, or resent having to do so, and will do it once or twice to say they have, and then never touch it again.
Well it's the perfect "gamer gurrll!" job so yeah.
Yes? Look up O'sullivan's law. HR/PR positions are always full of leftists because leftists only ever hire their own.
You can't be a community manager without being a woke psycho
The only difference between community managers and tranny jannies is that the former have managed to grift a living out of it, which is why the latter hate the "they do it for free" meme. It reminds them of what losers they are.
They have been banning people who ask for woke shit in the game, so let's see if they stick to their principles by firing this idiot.

Yeah, I have my doubts about them being "based". They are just terrified that their new golden child could die, if they overdo it.
The company is not publicly traded and as far as I am aware they have only taken minimal investment, mainly growing from year over year profits and smartly reinvesting into the company to grow it. The entire board of the company is still the founders that met in university when they started working on Magicka.
To me this seems like standard commie infiltration that is occurring everywhere in society.
Yeah Commies never create anything of value on their own. They always leech off someone else's hard work and rot it from the inside out. It really is a mind virus.

The Steam Forums are currently on fire. Several topics have been deleted and the usual suspects are trying to gaslight anyone opposed to this crap.
Just saying (and for legal reasons this is parody), if I ever start a business that needs a community manager or any sort of PR position, moderators, or similar...I will not be hiring women for the role. It's also sad that such a practice would be illegal...not sure why it's any of the government's business.
Also, let's go through some of these...
Nonsense, you can be passionate, but still bad or a casual. That said, "hardcore" will likely come with more playtime and, thus, you're more likely in aggregate to have more skill too. Effort = skill. People who play casually will almost always have less skill on average.
I'd put money on this lady having cats.
Authorities, this one right here!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I'm not convinced that community managers are ever needed, even if you could find one that isn't a commie faggot. PR is a different story and hiring a Vivek Ramaswamy type would do wonders for a business's relationship with its actual customers.
"community managers" used to actually do shit like arrange convention booths and stuff like that.
Now nobody cares so they don't bother.
...Or being part of the rainbow cult, who cannot continue their lineage.
(though that doesn't preclude the wokester from having a bunch of cats)
Literally everything she says equates to not having fun.
The satire in Helldivers is so ridiculous that it feels more like a satire of satire. If it's meant to be a genuine attempt at satirizing patriotism, everyone involved should be sterilized.
Its the same sort of satire as Robocop and Starship troopers, really REALLY heavy handed satire.
It also mocks the left constantly, but they conveniently ignore that part when talking about the satire.
Community managers are generally shit wokies
fire it.
Out of a canon?
Into a woodchipper.
Then past a flammenwerfer. (It werfers flammen.)
Oh well, off my Wishlist it goes. Fuck I hate this woke infestation in everything.

I haven't yet played HD2 but my initial assumptions are actually that it leaned woke. I believe this because it seems satirical in the same way Starship Troopers is, but they intentionally made it so you as the player question the motives of your missions and whether or not the enemy is actually an enemy. Where Starship Troopers portrayed Earth as Literally Doing Nothing Wrong, HD2 seems to throw all kinds of hints and references that you're actually horrible. It's no surprise that a bunch of fags worked on this, because it seems the spiritual successor of Veerhoven's vision (not his actual end product).
So I ask the room: are the bugs and robots as unequivocally bad as the bugs in Starship Troopers? Or is there always an unspoken "you are the reason for all of this" running throughout?
It throws hints and references in the sense that the game's setting is presented in a completely straightforward way (you're a soldier fighting for a prosperous, highly advanced utopian Earth embroiled in a two front war against genocidal invading aliens) but faggot communists intended for you to smirk about how you can see the secret coded messages behind the presentation. The robots massacre civilian colonists and defile their corpses, the bugs are giant acid spitting bugs.
The Terminids escaped from farms they were put on after the first game because their corpses dissolve into a fossil fuel starships use for FTL.
The Cyborgs of the first game were former Super Earth citizens who were broadcasting dissent against the state and so a terrorist attack that killed five civilians (with no clear culprit) was used as justification to go to war with them. They were sent to the mines after their defeat. No idea if the Automatons are connected to them.
The Illuminate were attacked because they were hoarding "weapons of mass destruction", but it was really a pretext to steal their more advanced technology.
It's far more obvious in the first game.
It's actually pretty evenhanded in the satire, mocking both sides of the aisle. The Automaton flag is a literal Communist flag, they call the Bugs (those poor exploited animals) fascists as justification for attacking them, officers talk about "being on the right side of history" occasionally after completing a mission, and enemies are occasionally called a threat to democracy. There's some more, but I haven't had my coffee yet and my brain isn't firing on all cylinders yet.
Yes. And helldivers 2 also has godawful always online drm, and invasive anti-cheat that acts like a rootkit and in rare cases entirely fries harddrives - which the devs were. And freemium monetization in a full price game. And helldivers 1 was a pay to win mess.
And we aren't even going to talk about their first game.
This dev is not good. The game, separate from their meddling, could have been great. But the company is turbo cancer, and that means the product is not worth buying either.
It's literally illegal to not hire these people and you can't fire them either.
Obnoxious obese hwyte woman. It's like they hire them out of central casting. She's going to tear down the company, play the victim and move on to the next with zero consequences.
This is dating me considerably but I was definitely was soured on the 'casual/hardcore' idea from back in the day where very loud multiplayer playerbases functionally demanded that every game copy Counter-Strike in every way, because the only thing that mattered was competition, and the only thing that could count as 'skill' was if every single game had bunnyhopping and some kind of AWP or shit like that.
I saw plenty of games and mods with interesting ideas basically give them up for the 'hardcore e-sports experience', and 'casual' was a slur for any game that didn't cater to the raging assholes of the multiplayer community who would shit up your servers and bicker endlessly about rules and 'how we do things in CAL'.
I learned to basically hate clans (thankfully they're basically dead now) and competitive players. And I blame them for Natural Selection 2 never getting off the ground, because they functionally built the game exclusively to only appeal to the long-extinct "competitive" playerbase of NS1. Instead of making an interesting game using the ideas they had, the devs were obsessive about trying to make it an e-sport title and they made the game like it was still 2002. Nobody played it, the game balance was trash and wildly swung back and forth because they obsessively tried to balance win/loss ratios without actually understanding the gameplay, and did nothing with the interesting setting, instead choosing to just copy-paste most of NS1 into a new engine and thought it'd work.
In a lot of ways NS2 had the same flaws and died for the same reason Evolve did.
This cunt needs her face caved in
Like what? I’ve played hundreds of games. The PS4 God of War is the only one that stands out as a parent/child narrative. What are we going to say Fallout 4 or something? I mean I guess. I don’t recall that many.
Witcher 3 and The Last of Us both fall under that category.
Is this because she is a giant fucking landwhale and has no hope of ever reproducing? Parenthood is barely touched in most games because either it's too complex for the story to be written properly and only appeals to a small group of people anyway, or the people writing the game don't include it at all, it's just vaguely referenced in text pick-ups found in the world. This truly is not a recurring issue.
She's referring to Bioshock, where you have to kill little girls in order to proceed to the next stage.
At this stage, any company with a "community manager" is a red flag.
And as per usual, a red flag doesn't instantly mean something is wrong. It's merely an indicator that there very well could be.
And considering the kind of people that dominate the HR/PR/Community Manager demographics, it's blatantly obvious that if you're hiring one of these people, you know what you're ultimately getting yourself into. And at that point, you get what you deserve from the situation.
Having a "community manager" is pretty essential in the sense that you want your developers busy developing the game, not distracted with controversy or marketing or policing fanbase behavior
But a developer that cared about being "non-political" would have to dismiss like 99% of the people applying for this role because they're all crazy power hungry commies
I disagree. They don't need to be engaging in their fanbase at all, and marketing is marketing, not a community manager.
I get what you mean, but ignoring the media at large is a far better tact than anything else. Always has been.
Not sure what you're saying here. The #1 problem that most games (and creative projects generally) have is getting noticed. You have to hustle to get noticed.
I don't know enough about Arrowhead's situation to say but it's reasonable to believe that someone titled Community Manager is the one posting stuff to social media, coordinating interviews with press, arranging community-facing events (e.g. Q&A, parsing user feedback, etc). Maybe they were big enough that these hats weren't being worn by one person, but they often are.
It's a modern element that such a role be needed. Get someone in-house. Buying these "connections" through a community manager is nothing more than buying pozzed elements. Might as well consult with SBI or similar groups, because that's the end result of these people who push marketing, because they ALWAYS apply pressure internally to try and change the culture because "that's what's marketable".
Again, of the three things you mentioned for a community manager, there is only one that has any merit in the slightest, and that's marketing. Controversy and fanbase policing is irrelevant bullshit that marketing losers push to try and further control the core company through fearmongering ("if you don't do what I tell you to do, there will be controversy and the fanbase will lash out unless they're policed well enough!").
Again, I disagree that this position is needed. You're trying to make is seem like a necessary evil, but I don't think it is. You simply need someone who is a part of the core team to take a step back to engage for marketing purposes that will ACTUALLY represent the company, rather than hiring some freak that will ultimately rot the company from the inside out.
Or, let me re-iterate: Hiring one of these freaks is a red flag. Because the kind of people who would hire a freak almost certainly already aligns with said freak. So it's less that they'll rot the company, but rather that a rotting company will rely on these freaks to get the job done and make sure they're as thoroughly pozzed as they possibly can be.
Any space that isn't explicitly anti-SocJus will inevitably fall to SocJus infiltrators. It's happened time and time again, yet people are still deluding themselves that letting foxes into the hen house will somehow work this time and not result in utter shitshows.
Men need to get back to the duty of keeping women in line
Fear they'll do to Helldivers 2 that happened to Skullgirls. Infiltration and destruction.
It always amuses me when community managers, who had absolutely nothing to do with a game's development, act like they were integral to said development and most definitely know all about it.
Also, the satire is pretty evenhanded and targets both the left and right.
These people will cry about subjectivity and letting people enjoy things on their own terms, regardless of the artist intent. And then turn around and bitch about media literacy and the artist vision is the only vision.
Also the try hard white people are super cringe. What do brown, black, gay or anything else workers have to do with anything?
Whoever made that image knew what they're doing. It's time for whites to listen, keeps fucking talking.
Guess I dont need to buy it after all.
