Trump is doing exactly what he repeatedly said he'd do. Why would anyone who voted for him regret it?
My NPC friend keeps insisting Trump's policies will only hurt his base and that they voted against their own interests. They all read off the same gay script from their fake reality.

Meanwhile, the machine shop I work for has seen a major uptick in orders, including some customers going so far as to double their demands and even asking for more with the limit being our production capability rather than their demand. Which means overtime in my future, more pay, and job security.

The reality is the average American probably would take a 20 year hit to the economy if it meant wokeness is forever resigned to the dustbin of history, and crime/border/corruption gets dealt with.
The economy was one of the points of many that people voted for, but they're narrative is, "dumb Americans just voted because of economy and egg prices are still high after three weeks in office".
There's another narrative on the left that says the only reason anyone voted for him (other than because they're ebil raycists and muhsoggyknees) is because everyone idiotically assumes they're "temporarily embarrassed billionaires" who will strike it rich any day now.
I genuinely hate the outright arrogance these people have. It’s one thing to spend time curating a standpoint while constantly using other data/information to clash against it. This is how normal people used to garner understanding of topics
It’s a completely different thing to read the same 20 article headlines over and over and then set an unwavering standpoint that since they want to help people, anything against their stance is obviously against helping people. A Mexican TV station was interviewing actual Mexicans in Mexico and they were pissed at the protesters saying that they are Chicano and Gringos and that real Mexicans don't have a problem with the US deporting the criminals because it will make the rest of them here look better when the crime rate goes down

Mexico City runs the politics of the nation much the same way as big liberal cities run otherwise conservative states. The Mexicans in the rural parts are very conservative and fit in quite well. They warned me about the Venezuelans years ago. Back in the Obama years they showed me a video of immigrants from central America that rejected the food they offered to them because it was a plate of beans. The central Americans knocked the plate out of the lady's hand and said it was food for pigs and they wanted beef. The riff between Mexican and those from further south goes back many years. Try watching some videos in Spanish from Mexico and you will see they are just as pissed as we are about the globalist agenda. With the censorship money getting pinched, you might see a reality that has been hidden from us.

That OptimistsUnite sub didn't show up until recently, with every post being "My rebuplican dumbass neighbor/father/brother is totally coming around". Those "my conservative __ regrets voting for Trump" posts have been happening since the WEEK OF the election, before he was even in office. Not to mention the Walz posts. The entire site is astroturfed to hell and back, and I'm surprised one of them is starting to realize it.
