I don't know how much agency the average Mexican Man On The Street has in that regard.
And I don't have much agency in regards to what my government/country did to every nation for the last 100 years.
Yet I've spent my entire life having the entire world shit on me, directly, for those actions. From pompous Europeans to whiny 3rd worlders, all of them taking my money and then talking shit about something I'd also like us to stop doing.
But, as the "trade war" shows, we are supposed to just not return any favors and be good and kind and soft with them, when they were happy to be shits and unfair to us until now.
