This reminds me of something I read on the blog A Collection of Unmitigated Pedantry, which was the simple observation that medieval people believed their religions, whereas George Martin writes a world that has the trappings of being medieval, but lets the villains perform un-medieval blasphemies without being brought to heel by the vengeful pious. Calling an all-father deity a transvestite should be highly offensive to all around at best, if not cause to step backwards out of the splash zone.

I've said it before, but there are interesting things you can do with pronouns in speculative fiction that cannot be done while this utter nonsense is sucking up all the air in the room. You can't have an ambassador who uses the royal we because he's the political avatar of his people when these retards will just interpret it as "OMG he's nonbinary!" and shout down everyone who disagrees.
The worst thing about this is, you can't even be an asshole to your party members any more. If the game would let you tell her to shut her whore mouth, even if that would give you a bad ending, it would be at least somewhat tolerable.
Also, on another note: I just fucking love how all these super "inclusive" games have 0,1pt subtitles. Like fuck off. Not every one has a 4k monitor or a 70" TV. And they usually will have a billion fucking accessability options (that all boil down to "turn on games journo mode") and not a single one of them will be "make subtitles a readable size".
