They actively hate the Witcher stories and lore, but used it to push their messaging. They denied it when the fans rightfully called them out when the show was released, but now admitted to all of it on their social media trying to deflect blame now that Henry Cavill left and the show is failing.
There's a timeline where Biff didn't find the almanac and we got a Netflix Witcher that was Geralt and a rotating cast of buddies like Dandelion and Zoltan Chivay having adventures and fighting monsters like Hercules and Iolaus, plus insanely smoking hot women who occasionally actually got naked.
They're trying to socially condition the beauty standard to what they believe are 'real women', so they cast women who most would consider plain, or ugly if the casting director is especially spiteful.
