The remake was in the works for probably half a decade by now, was pushed back multiple times and people lost hope but it turned out to be a perfect remake.
Well that's a full price buy then, if it's a faithful remake. System Shock was right there with Deus Ex and Fallout and MechWarrior defining my teenage gaming years.
Honestly? Nothing. All the cool stuff comes out and I get surprised, I looked ahead just now what is coming out but the good stuff DID already come out. I am sceptical of starfield, System Shock remake came out already and the lineup of 2023's second half looks pretty mediocre. Maybe armored core but I never played any of them so I should look into that as it might be something to look forward to(since it is from software)
Guaranteed to be trash. Bethesda has been on a downward slide for as long as they've been using the same engine. That's over twenty years now, since Morrowind released in 2002. They've also openly bragged about it having pronoun bullshit.
Which is why I use the word skeptical. I'll keep an open mind about it but let's not kid outselfes, it's fallout 4 in space. I mostly play these games for modding anyways so that's the main reason I'll be getting it at some point in time(I highly doubt at launch).
The problem with mods in this game is that Bethesda has proven they care more about MTX than mods. Skyrim's tenth anniversary thing broke mods, just so they could sell more BS. Same thing happens with Fallout 4 too since they both have the same in-game shop. Expect to have to update all your mods every time Bethesda wants to sell a new skin and have no idea when they're going to stop.
They still occasionally kill mods with updates no one asked for. Some games on steam(like Rimworld) allow you to pick which version of the game you install. Bethesda apparently doesn't do that. I fought with that shit before trying to get the correct executable file, was not fun but doable.
I've been like this for a while. I rarely get hyped for anything anymore. Woke shit and overall decline in the industry have left me pretty jaded about it.
I was interested in the RE 4 remake and the System Shock one but both are out already. Can't say I was excited about them but I was interested.
Space Marine 2 is on my list but not sure of the release date.
I'm still waiting for BG3 but is more of a last chance of getting a good crpg, I've been already disappointed in the demo, you can find obvious feminist talking points as well as pro-immigration, the gameplay is fun and there are at least one white male companion that is also charismatic but I fully expect they cuck him somehow. I also don't like 5'th edition and how you can fight monsters like hags or ogre-magi at level 3 or 4.
Not 2023 but I'm looking forward to the next Elder Scrolls game, it is said to be set in Hammerfell and I'm hoping they stay away from woke messages since they are already black and would give them the opportunity to showcase their culture. I am worried that despite being set in an area full of black people they will find a way to blame everything on white people and then get some BLM messaging in there while the main NPCs are all women. There seems to be a fascination with black women of late.
Not sure, as far as I know it is just speculation. I think Hammerfell fits since the BLM riots just happened and the western world went crazy for black people.
I may be wrong though.
Maybe they will pull a "for modern audiences" and bretons are now of all shades of skin color. Who knows at this point.
Hmm. I mean I know early on, before BLM related stuff, Hammerfell or High Rock were on the list of guesses, based on the teaser's geography and climate and because they hadn't been explored since maybe Daggerfall. Plus it was clearly not Valenwood or the Black Marshes. Or anywhere near Morrowind, etc etc.
Funny thing is, Redguards share almost nothing in common with the usual cliche trendy narratives being overemphasized in woke media. Redguards probably share more in common with someplace like ancient Carthage.
I've seen a lot of videos of constructions, but I'm not entirely certain I want to play that way. That's the great part though, the game lets me do just that.
You can add me to the list with that Forza then, since I have always enjoyed it. For other confirmed this year, it is hands down Armored Core 6 and Cities: Skylines 2, Jagged Alliance 3, as well as any new DLC for Snowrunner (dont know exact dates, but will probably be this year).
As for longer term and less confirmed, that would be Frostpunk 2 (which still has barely any info after a year and it is driving me crazy), Manor Lords, Sea Power (made by the rebooted MicroProse, so it will definitely be excellent like almost everything else they have done), and finally Falling Frontier (which is impressive for being a single dev).
I just can't get excited for Forza. I'm sure I'll play it but it the more recent games are more of a grind than fun. I wish they'd make it more realistic with qualifying and not forcing you to win every race against rigged AI. It's nigh impossible to win with a wheel and if I'm on a controller I'd just rather play something else.
I tried the beta of The Crew Motorfest and it seems fun, albeit they may have gone too Forza Horizon. Will see I still need to play it more. If the map is good it will be decent. I won't buy it at launch though but I buy almost nothing at launch, so... Also interested in the new Test Drive game.
Otherwise there's not much. I'm sort of interested in a survival game coming called The Lost Wild, but I'm also skeptical it will be polished or fun. There was a time I would have been interested in Diablo IV, but that doesn't even spark any interest I expect it to be so awful and I hate that company. I'm always so behind anyway that anything good that comes out this year is more likely to be on my 2026 playlist anyway.
As a wheel player, I feel that the wheel support in Motorsport 6 is adequate. I have a good range of motion and the game feels responsive.
As for Forza 2023, I too hope that we can qualify for single player events. It's so frustrating being caught in a first corner pileup and falling far behind the leader just because the game forces you to start in 12th for no reason. Especially since I've been able to go faster than the AI with cars that aren't upgraded.
Hopefully homologation gets ditched too. I thought it was a ridiculous way of putting cars that have no business racing each other (GT4 and Super GT GT500 cars) in one class and putting on all sorts of ridiculous upgrades on them that ruin how they drive.
Furthermore, it completely defeats the purpose of depicting racing in a grounded way and defeats the purpose of seeing how these cars race each other despite their different design and performance characteristics.
I'd also like to see true multi class racing with full, real time 24 hour long races. Therefore, a mid race save feature like the one in 2000's Test Drive Le Mans for the Dreamcast would be a must.
I think this new Forza would also be a good opportunity to finally offer some kind of off road or rallycross racing.
As long as they keep the BS pronouns out of it, I'll definitely be keeping my eye on Forza 2023.
I'm looking forward to playing Sea of Thieves for the thousandth hour for most of the year, as the game I was most excited for (Darkest Dungeon 2) is completely awful and will likely be so for a long while.
For me it's Skyblivion. I never actually finished Oblivion, and I dreaded the thought of trying to go back to it on the older engine (both due to more modding messiness and potato face meshes).
They announced a release date for 2025, I think. Heard good things about Bruma but I barely even got around to baseline Skyrim, and it wasn't something I could incorporate into my heavily modded (and incomplete) setup.
Outside of TotK, I'm cautiously optimistic about FF16. Then the new Armored Core and Mortal Kombat "reboot" both look sick. Never played Dragons Dogma but the trailer for the new one actually got me pretty hyped.
We only talk about women's issues now, don't you know?
I really can't win. I try to post about what we used to stand for, I get botted. I post about what I usually do, I get botted.
Only way to win is to sacrifice my principles for upvotes like a fucking Redditor. Actually, I think I'd do better on r/KiA2. Mostly because the stormfags are all banned.
Already been permanently banned once, but I've changed my ISP and don't have any of the same devices now.
I could probably get away without a ban if I just posted things and stayed away from making comments. My comments get me banned more than my posts, even here.
Honestly nothing, but that has more to do with me no longer buying games at release. My backlog is so large that I can easily wait 1-2 years to have the game get cheaper.
Rogue Trader is interesting me the most of this year's releases.
Not sure if they release this year, but Ostranauts and Gloomwood might be exceptions I'd buy as soon as they leave early access. Gloomwood is similiar to Thief (my favourite series of all time) and Ostranauts is from the devs of NEO Scavenger.
I think I finally aged out of gaming. My last hurrah was Kingmaker just because I got it for free on Epic and liked it so much I bought it with all the DLC on steam for a replay. But then my enthusiasm petered out in the replay and the DLC didn't add that much. Would still consider Wrath of Righteous just because that looks like it has a Planescape level of worldbuilding.
Because of those Rogue Trader is on my radar but will probably wait 2 years and get the edition with all the DLC on a sale.
To be fair to modern rpg games kingmaker was excellent outside of the kingdom management mechanics. And I only heard good thing about wrath of righteous again the 2ndary mechanics were lacking.
But i think it is also age. I bought the system shock remake and felt this guilt that I should be doing something else when I played it. Something I didnt even conceive of when dropping 60 hours a week into deus ex or diablo 2 or WoW 20 years ago.
I'm excited for Rain Code since I enjoyed the team's Danganronpa series. Armored Core is probably going to be incredible. My boss has been waiting for Pikmin 4 for ages and I'm pretty excited for that too. I'm skeptical on Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, but man does it look like it's oozing in style that we hardly see anymore.
It may be a bit too late, but I'm strangely excited to see payday 3 for all the wrong reasons. Payday 2 had a lot, and I mean a lot of issues (DLC's would get released with OP stuff, allowing you to pay to win the game). With them adding day-1 DLC, I'm thinking this game could be so laughably bad it'll create a black hole on steam, sucking in every man woman and child who dares to view the platform.
The new Cadillac is a beautiful and capable machine in my opinion. I can't wait to see how all the major manufacturers compare to each other at Le Mans this weekend.
Unfortunately, I will no longer be watching them in the pro-groomer IMSA, which has declared support for "pride" amidst the grooming and mutilation.
At least neither F1 or the WEC have recognized this death cult in any way this year.
Thank God for Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the FIA president that has openly tried to shut down this foolishness.
The System Shock remake was all I cared about and I'm enjoying it.
Holy shit they remade system shock?
The remake was in the works for probably half a decade by now, was pushed back multiple times and people lost hope but it turned out to be a perfect remake.
Well that's a full price buy then, if it's a faithful remake. System Shock was right there with Deus Ex and Fallout and MechWarrior defining my teenage gaming years.
https://rumble.com/v2rs9a1-razrfist-arcade-system-shock-remake.html
I'd skip the first 10 minutes unless you're into joke memes that shock your system.
That said, the remake looks pretty fantastic to me.
Honestly? Nothing. All the cool stuff comes out and I get surprised, I looked ahead just now what is coming out but the good stuff DID already come out. Indies are the only ones I get in any way hyped for. They make the good games now.
I was interested in the RE 4 remake and the System Shock one but both are out already. Can't say I was excited about them but I was interested.
Space Marine 2 is on my list but not sure of the release date.

Not sure, as far as I know it is just speculation. I think Hammerfell fits since the BLM riots just happened and the western world went crazy for black people. I may be wrong though.

The new Zelda is nice. System Shock remake looks great. I want to play the WW1 game. Forza looks awesome but I need to update my computer.
Also, I'm working on my thesis and am a foster parent. Just gaming in general is something I look forward to.
I've seen a lot of videos of constructions, but I'm not entirely certain I want to play that way. That's the great part though, the game lets me do just that.
That's what I want. I don't want to Garry's Mod everything.
I might pick up Gollum. I've heard it's good.
Yeah I was joking. That game is trash.

If we're doing a Forza clan for KIA, count me in.
/u/TheImpossible1 if you are racing in our clan, I'm putting a "Trans Rights Are Men's Rights" sticker on my rear bumper just for you.
"Why does he keep shunting me into the wall?"
I just can't get excited for Forza. I'm sure I'll play it but it the more recent games are more of a grind than fun. Just play Black Reliquary.
I’m looking forward to see how much Konami will fuck up the new Metal Gear Remake.
where. the. fuck. Is. SilkSong!?!?!?
Starfield and Diablo 4. And as for mods… the Morrowind Mod for Skyrim
For me it's Skyblivion. I never actually finished Oblivion, and I dreaded the thought of trying to go back to it on the older engine (both due to more modding messiness and potato face meshes).
I remember hearing about it but haven’t heard any progress on it in a long time. Bruma is really cool
They announced a release date for 2025, I think. Heard good things about Bruma but I barely even got around to baseline Skyrim, and it wasn't something I could incorporate into my heavily modded (and incomplete) setup.
Is the mod finally coming out?
I think later this year. I loved Bruma
The Bruma one was pretty good. Sadly, my mod setup was super instable and stuff just crashed at random so I did not fully play through it.
Age of Wonders 4 came out already and it's quite good. The best 4x in a long time.
Upcoming releases? Rogue Trader.
I enjoyed Wrath of the Righteous so much more than I expected to, so I’m with you on Rogue Trader.
I modded it to replace the nog and the troon with orcs. In terms of gameplay it was pretty good.
Where can I get this mod?
Can't, self done.
Teach me.
Pikmin 4, Lords Of The Fallen (the apology), Starfield?
Outside of TotK, I'm cautiously optimistic about FF16. Then the new Armored Core and Mortal Kombat "reboot" both look sick. Never played Dragons Dogma but the trailer for the new one actually got me pretty hyped.
If you build car designs, run races, or do livestreams, please post them here so the rest of the community can enjoy them!
Stop pinning this shit.
What, threads about games?
We only talk about women's issues now, don't you know?
I really can't win. I try to post about what we used to stand for, I get botted. I post about what I usually do, I get botted.
Only way to win is to sacrifice my principles for upvotes like a fucking Redditor. Actually, I think I'd do better on r/KiA2. Mostly because the stormfags are all banned.
You'd get banned pretty fast too from reddit. For being right.
Already been permanently banned once, but I've changed my ISP and don't have any of the same devices now.
I could probably get away without a ban if I just posted things and stayed away from making comments. My comments get me banned more than my posts, even here.
No. Go play more video games, enjoy your hobby, and make friends.
None I just mod old consoles now and illegally download games from woke game studios. Posted a BLM/pride flag? I'm stealing all your games.
Honestly nothing, but that has more to do with me no longer buying games at release. My backlog is so large that I can easily wait 1-2 years to have the game get cheaper.

Starfield could be Game of All Time once modders dewokify it.
Payday 3
Hopefully, they don't turn it into a joke like the tail-end of PD2.
I think I finally aged out of gaming. My last hurrah was Kingmaker just because I got it for free on Epic and liked it so much I bought it with all the DLC on steam for a replay. Nothing but the endless void of AAA garbage.
That looks like some sort of LeMans car to me. "GM"
Is the other one just a new Corvette?
It's Cadillac's LeMans car, so it is GM.
It's the new EV Corvette. Gotta virtue signal somewhere!

Thank God for Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the FIA president that has openly tried to shut down this foolishness.
I just meant that those vehicles don't have much in common with street cars. The parts would be GM, though.
Starfield, Star Ocean remake, and Super Mario RPG remake are the three I'm excited about
After the recent direct, Super Mario RPG!
Uhuh.
