Single player games obviously drop way faster in player count than multiplayer games, so the list is not super perfect. But it shows enough.

In the end it boils down to what kind of scaling you want. Linear, exponential or something like log.
In a linear system every skill point is worth the same. In an exponential system the later points are more impactful than the earlier points, while in a log system it's opposite. Just look at the graphs of those functions.
Math point would just be *skill (linear), ^skill (exponential) and log(skill). You can then freely add scaling factors (multiply by a constant) to adjust the exact growth you want to have.
Another thing you should consider is your RNG. Do you want a uniform distribution? Or a normal distribution? Think rolling a d6 vs rolling 3d6 and how likely each result is in each case.

Think CA games, but with more RPG elements like heroes that can go on quests on the campaign map etc. I don't really recall the story, but initially it starts relatively "medieval", but then the fey beings start invading. 2nd game also has an expansion about Romans in Britannia.

On the PC I use SpotX for spotify. It basically removes all the ads in the free version. You can use similar things on phones, but I don't bother with that.
Of course you still don't own anything, but it's free to use. I can live with that, especially since I'm not super into various artists / music.
I'm into progressive house, so for music on the way I just rip a youtube set of my favourite artists to mp3 and play those. Using youtube-dl for that. They release stuff like that often enough to keep me satisfied.
Oh and I am a patreon subscriber for one artist and get some songs there. Usually unreleased / earlier versions of songs.
