How did leftist become so anti-Israel?

The US is pro Israel. Leftists are anti-US, thus anti Israel. They're also anti colonization (see anti US), and Israel is a colonizer state in their eyes. Also Jews are white and Arabs/Muslims are a minority (well.. in the US).
