I detest most of them unless it's something traditional like Joy to the World or Holy Night.
They're not Christmas songs unless they're about the celebration of the birth of Christ. Otherwise they're wintertime songs. They've also been playing them on repeat at every store for decades because THEY hate Christ.
Favorite: O Holy Night. I can't think of a Christmas song that describes the meaning of Christmas any better.
Least Favorite: All I want For Christmas by Mariah Carey. It sounds like an innocent upbeat pop song, but the lyrics are just hinting at pre marital fornication.
Love: White Christmas, such an amazing song.
Hate: Most of it has been mentioned already except one: Last Christmas, I hate this song with a burning passion, it's not a Christmas song.
I had to explain to someone the other day what TSO is because they had never heard of them, and said "they do like this really cool modern rock version of Carol of the Bells."
Then I remembered the song came out over 20 years ago.
Worst: The "New Shoes/Momma meets Jesus Tonight" song, which is just miserable and depressing. At least most ConsumeProduct songs try to be at least remotely feelgood, but that one... Anyone who LIKES it, should be on suicide watch. "Oh, I love that song about the broke kid begging to get a discount on shoes because he wants to show his dying mother that he can afford shoes the day she dies. My favorite song! Really brings up the spirits!"
Best: "Make It Christmas Day.", a simple Christian Rock song about praying to Jesus being particularly good to do on Christmas day. I'm not usually much for Christian rock, but it serves its purpose well in this setting.
Least Favorite: Every single rehash done by some Mariah Carey or Chris Brown wannabe who feels the obnoxious need to pitch check and overly-inflect every single note of every syllable of every word of a children's Christmas song. On repeat everywhere I go.
Favorite to hear once a year is The Little Drummer Boy. It does get old fast though. Silent Night is also up there.
Least favorite is Christmas Shoes and a lot of the real commercial pop ones. Also despite my love of the Beach Boys, I don't really like Little Saint Nick
Best: Rusty Chevolet. It has more to do with Christmas than the song it's parodying. Also Carol of the Bells, though that sounds less like a Christmas song and more like final boss music.
Worst: Christmas Shoes. It's emotionally manipulative and has a consumerist bend even while trying to be spiritual. Yeah, like Jesus would actually care what shoes you're going to wear when you show up at the Pearly Gates.
I like the ones about Jesus, angels, blessings. I have total disdain for Santa stuff especially Jingle Bells assigning him the power of omniscience and the right to judge your soul. It's almost like someone who hates celebration of Jesus, God & Holy Spirit was trying to fill His niche with a toy commercial mascot.

Favourite non-traditional: Merry Xmas Everybody. I just love the energy and me and my friends loved to scream "It's Chriiiiiiiiiistmassss" at the top of our lungs when we were young so it has a special place in my heart
Favourite traditional: "Bóg się rodzi" ("God is Born"). People who enjoy Civilization will surely know this song, because Firaxis used it as a theme of Polish civ

As to what I hate, most of the stuff they play in stores; it's usually sappy and just feels a little slimy, and I know it's driving the employees crazy too. Not pleasant, although occasionally you'll hear something awesome. But that's pretty rare.
Least — anything by Blew-gay (Michael Buble), honorable mentions to that piece of shit “Marshmallow World” song and that one Beatle’s “Wonderful Christmastime” slog.
