That's not how I read it. It's like how someone who lost a member of their family in the Twin Towers might dread 9/11. Obviously that person can't die again, but it's a painful reminder.
Now how much emotional resonance events that are long out of living memory can have is another question.
Transitioning is more like taking the chair, cutting off the back and one leg, and then claiming it's just as good a seat as this stool.
US Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee has represented the 18th district of Texas since 1995.
The 18th district of Texas, huh?
Texas's 18th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives includes much of inner city Houston and the surrounding area.
Ah yes. The Seattle of the Gulf of Mexico.
Death penalty is murder
In the Bible, God commands murderers be put to death. (Exodus 21:12-14) Therefore, the death penalty can't be murder.
Not mandating vaccines is murder
No state mandates flu vaccines. Is every death due to the flu murder by the government?
Allowing people to own guns is murder
Jesus commanded his disciples to buy swords. (Luke 22:35-38) If it's acceptable to own a sword, it's also acceptable to own a gun.
Take a look at this article. There are deaf people to whom their identity as a deaf person is so important, they won't take the option to hear if offered. If given the option of having a body of the opposite sex, but no longer being "trans", I don't think many would take the option.
Likely a so-called "progressive Christian."
Cooper went on to explain that "whiteness totally skews our view of things." She elaborated by saying that world history didn’t begin with white people arriving in America, and then makes the curious claim that there were Africans in the Americas "being brilliant" with "libraries and inventions" and "vibrant notions of humanity and cross-cultural exchanges long before white people showed up being violent and terrible and trying to take everything from everybody."
Where are the remains of these Africans? Where are the ruins of these libraries? What are these inventions?
She also highlights the use of performance and exhibitions by artist Arne Hendriks “to encourage people to embrace fewer inches.” “He’s even restricted dairy from his sons’ diets and only allows them minimal sugar in an attempt to limit their growth, saving them from the ills of height,” she writes.
So this guy is malnourishing his sons to deliberately stun their growth.
It really was a good movie.
