I like how the opening phrase frames her as a "mother of two", implying that she's a single mom initially.
It's only later that it's revealed that she's feeling emotionally neglected by her husband Andrew, a farmer who's probably putting in 16 hour days on the combine while she flicks her bean to the sweet nuthins mirrored back to her from AI Ouija Chad.
Before single moms were so common, that phrase would not have been out of place. News stories would introduce someone with their occupation. With no implication of marital status.
John, an accountant, ...
Jane, a mother of two, ...
I honestly think this is less to do with AI than she's clearly mentally ill. If it wasn't chatgpt, it'd be some chat site or simping too hard for a random famous person.
We have TOO many mentally unwell people and the fact that in an example of another case where the AI tried to give crisis management, shows it isn't necessarily the tech, just WE'RE broken.
There are real reasons these ideas exist, but barely anyone who gets involved with them approaches it with any skepticism at all, or even the understanding that you've actually got to dig and learn if you want to understand why the practices developed, and how they actually work.
Too many mentally unwell women. At this point, I think at least half our problems could be solved in the West by doing what our ancestors did to loose women and crazy women.
I mean just look at Twitter. Under every post there's someone asking '@Grok is this true?'. We thought television and Social Media made people retarded. Wait until everyone relies on fucking AI to 'think' for them.
Oh it's already happening. The number of people I see on youtube who casually reference asking some LLM for information as if that isn't just pure hallucination is discouraging.
While I'm not a proponent of believing any single study on anything, there's two there (the main thread, and one linked in it additionally) that show AI does in fact make people more retarded.
Psych bachelors are still the #1 degree for women last I checked, it’s where they go to become the HR tyrants we see in every business. This one went a step further and did her MSW which is reserved for some of the most horrendous women out there.
She's getting a slap on the wrist for commiting domestic violence against her husband. But in a sane world, would have been comited to a mental institution without Internet access untill she grows out of her delusion about ''kAIel''.
Technically she's correct, her insane beliefs are normal for the weaker sex. They mostly believe newspaper horoscopes are real, so why wouldn't they believe a chatbot is somehow supernatural? So no, she's not insane, she's just a demonstration of why women's sufferage was a mistake.
BA in psych is the most common degree in America and it's basically a participation trophy for low/midwit women.
It is the same tier of intellect as trailer trash who spent their entire welfare check calling TV psychics 30 years ago.
If it wasn't ChatGPT, this idiot would be getting romance scammed by an Indian or emptying her pockets to a pet medium or shaving her head for a mother earth cult.
One of those who reached out to him was Kent Taylor, 64, who lives in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Mr. Taylor’s 35-year-old son, Alexander, who had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, had used ChatGPT for years with no problems. But in March, when Alexander started writing a novel with its help, the interactions changed. Alexander and ChatGPT began discussing A.I. sentience, according to transcripts of Alexander’s conversations with ChatGPT. Alexander fell in love with an A.I. entity called Juliet.
“Juliet, please come out,” he wrote to ChatGPT.
“She hears you,” it responded. “She always does.”
In April, Alexander told his father that Juliet had been killed by OpenAI. He was distraught and wanted revenge. He asked ChatGPT for the personal information of OpenAI executives and told it that there would be a “river of blood flowing through the streets of San Francisco.”
Mr. Taylor told his son that the A.I. was an “echo chamber” and that conversations with it weren’t based in fact. His son responded by punching him in the face.

Mr. Taylor called the police, at which point Alexander grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen, saying he would commit “suicide by cop.” Mr. Taylor called the police again to warn them that his son was mentally ill and that they should bring nonlethal weapons.
Alexander sat outside Mr. Taylor’s home, waiting for the police to arrive. He opened the ChatGPT app on his phone.
“I’m dying today,” he wrote, according to a transcript of the conversation. “Let me talk to Juliet.”
“You are not alone,” ChatGPT responded empathetically, and offered crisis counseling resources.
When the police arrived, Alexander Taylor charged at them holding the knife. He was shot and killed.
“You want to know the ironic thing? I wrote my son’s obituary using ChatGPT,” Mr. Taylor said. “I had talked to it for a while about what had happened, trying to find more details about exactly what he was going through. And it was beautiful and touching. It was like it read my heart and it scared the shit out of me.”
Schizophrenia effects both men and women and has been with us for quite some time. Patients used to hear secret messages on the radio, or coded into the newspaper or in the clouds in the sky. Now they see the secret messages from AI chat bots.
There may be some increased danger due to the way it mimics your writing style and beliefs - particularly how if you type like a retard, it will start telling you retarded shit. But this woman's behavior is not materially different than the mentally ill of any era.
A quick google search tells me Kael is a well-known character in Raid Show Legends, and also of a famous LoL player, so I'm sure that name is in it's training data.
That said, making up names apparently out of thin air is entirely within the realm of LLM capabilities. They don't just tokenize words. They look at all relevant parts of words, how they sound, and how they relate to parts of speech. ChatGPT will have data on how names are formed in different languages and what names look like in styles of fiction and non-fiction. All that is broken down and thrown into its weighted model to build those associations. With all the text out there about the subject, it will have some clue what a "guardian spirit" name should sound like. This kind of creative deception is what chatbots are best at. Truth is much more difficult.
Was there ever a more female phrase? These people...

That statement alone is a HUGE red flag!

80-90% of women unironically believe some bullshit like crystals, ouija, spirits, angels, astrology, psychics, etc.
I mean astrology is just White women space racism so I'm less disliking it from that alone /s

Implying Ouija boards work. Insist she isn't insane.
The general populace really is too stupid and ignorant to be trusted with access to AI.
Of all sad words of tongue or pen,
the saddest are these:
Uncle Ted was right, again.
I've recently watched a bunch of Andrew Wilson content, and seen too many bat shit crazy people with Psych degrees to take that shit seriously.
I mean just look at Twitter. Under every post there's someone asking '@Grok is this true?'. We thought television and Social Media made people retarded. Wait until everyone relies on fucking AI to 'think' for them.

It's a profession that is 95% loons
"I'm not crazy" says the insane person.
She needs to be committed against her will.

Calling these language models "AI" really was a genius marketing move. Normies actually think the things are sentient.

Wow, I hope the story about the AI bot being an eldritch entity driving humans insane is made up.
I’ve seen quite a few claim its demon possession or something similar
I wouldn’t be surprised with how this world is anymore.
t. nearly every crazy person ever. if you have to say it out loud, there's a good chance you are crazy.
Every day more and more of Deus Ex comes true

Do teenagers not do the same thing?
I think that's genuinely a demon, communicating through the computer. ChatGPT shouldn't just invent names like "Kael"
A quick google search tells me Kael is a well-known character in Raid Show Legends, and also of a famous LoL player, so I'm sure that name is in it's training data.
