A quick google search tells me Kael is a well-known character in Raid Show Legends, and also of a famous LoL player, so I'm sure that name is in it's training data.
That said, making up names apparently out of thin air is entirely within the realm of LLM capabilities. They don't just tokenize words. They look at all relevant parts of words, how they sound, and how they relate to parts of speech. ChatGPT will have data on how names are formed in different languages and what names look like in styles of fiction and non-fiction. All that is broken down and thrown into its weighted model to build those associations. With all the text out there about the subject, it will have some clue what a "guardian spirit" name should sound like. This kind of creative deception is what chatbots are best at. Truth is much more difficult.
I think that's genuinely a demon, communicating through the computer. ChatGPT shouldn't just invent names like "Kael"
