It's a single player game with no multiplayer or DLC that I can recall of. Everyone just beat it.

As always, the left use statistics without context in a vain attempt to validate their ideology. If you want to see if it was successful or not let's see what franchise the affiliate studios are investing in or the results if you're harassment (cough) boycott campaign...

Not to mention likely appeals to younger console players.

The graph doesn't even give us enough details to see what the player base is right now. It could be bad or good, given it's age, at this point.

I'll compare it to another very well received single-player game: Factorio

Factorio appears to have 21,000 peak players for the month of September.

Hogwarts Legacy seems to be holding at 15,000 peak players for the same month.

I'd say that's okay for a single player game that was well received, and average replayability; compared to one of the most popular niche single-player games on the market with autistic levels of replayability.

If you consider the flash to be a nuclear blast, it's actually an ironically apt analogy since they were both wildly successful beyond what anyone imagined initially.

This is the life cycle of every single player game. There's a reason companies keep pushing for free to play multi-player models.

Didn’t the game still pander to lgbt crowd as well as having a wild inaccurate racial makeup for Victorian England?

Yes. It even threw in a tranny, most defiintely to curry favor from them. A tranny who just pretended to be a girl, rather than use any number of magical solutions to turn himself into his so called "correct" sex.

That’s what I don’t get about the whining. If I was a dude that believed he was a female, I would just play as a female

Well, that's what playing ANY "role-playing game" is SUPPOSED to be about - to try out the fantasy of being someone or something else, who is better, smarter, stronger than you could ever be. (I never ran into more old grannies like myself than when I was playing a Tauren huntard chilling in Thunder Bluff with other big-ass Tauren.)

Or am I the one looking at games inside-out?

See, this is the mask slipping a bit. They know deep down that they are not, and never will be, a woman. That’s why they don’t want to play as a woman in the game, they demand a tranny to play as.

High magic fantasy, and pseudo-magic Sci-Fi, have no room for transsexuals, because in those universes, changing your form is only a slight inconvenience. Transphobia could still be a thing, those who preach only the pure unadulterated body is suitable to live in for one reason or another, but transsexuals?

It'd be like in the modern day and age someone complaining about a cracked tooth. It sucks to have it, and it'd take, like, a whole day to get it fixed, maybe even two, just the worst, probably even need to schedule an appointment with an expert, and definitely uncomfortable for a few days after as you adjust to the new shape. You just take note of the condition, and if it's really bad... fix it.

But far lefties can't fathom what their day would have been like if they had not had breakfast that day, so they can't possibly fathom a world where the problems they encounter have completely easy and to-the-setting-mundane solutions.

wasn't that tranny only a tranny by nature of their voice in the english and german dubs? from what i understand in those languages its a mans voice but in the other languages its a womans voice

so someone who plays in another language has no idea and someone who is deaf would also have no idea

That's the part that really gets me about all this. Rowling is a total woketoid ("I never said Hermione WASN'T black") but since she doesn't agree with them on absolutely everything, she's vilified. Tell me you're a cult without saying you're a cult.

Yep, she’s 100% on board the feminist, gay, and diversity agenda. The only thing she’s not woke on is the trans issue, and that’s only because she’s such a radical feminist.

"A flash in the pan like it's author's career"

Oh I'm sorry, are we talking about the author of the book series that was in every school ever? The Philosopher's Stone (the first book, published in 1997) sold over 120 million copies. Or the game that came out a whole decade after the movie trilogy that spawned from said franchise, that actually sold so well it hit the steam top 10 for a few months?

Y'know, the one we're still talking about, 26 years later?

Nice gotcha there.

I don't even like the book series, but come on. It was the big thing for like 10 years. Kids were anticipating the book faire so they could get the next one.

120 million copies.

12 billion people upon Earth.

Across the jungles, tundras, savannahs, cities, suburbs, praries, mountains, and forests, 1 in 100 people to live upon this Earth have owned (not read, these things get both passed around AND pirated, that number is far higher, but fully legally owned) Harry Potter 1.

Or for a different perspective, more than 1% of the population own Harry Potter. Less than 1% of the population is trans. It makes more sense on a logistical level to make laws that favor and cater to Harry Potter book owners, than transsexuals.

"Flash in the pan". Hah.

I'll copy a comment I made when people tried to dunk on other single-player games:

Starfield and Cyberpunk are the only singleplayer games in the top thirty as far as playerbase. Falloff is natural, and they're competing with much older games, all multiplayer, which shows what people consistently play. Counter-Strike, DotA, PUBG, Apex Legends, GTA5.

Comparing Starfield to Cyberpunk, both were very hyped up games...falloff is going to happen. It took less than a month for Cyberpunk to reach 10% of initial playercount, Starfield is still around 33%.

I picked a semi 'our guy' game for comparison, Kingdom Come: Deliverance was the first that sprang to mind. It reached 10% of peak in about a month too. The Witcher 3, a fan favorite, lasted like a week longer before hitting 10%.

Like or hate Starfield - and there's plenty of criticism to levy - but it's at the very least doing as expected...arguably better. Playercount will keep falling, but that's to be expected.

Just looked at Hogwarts Legacy, it was at around 20% after a month, and took around a month and a half to reach 10% of peek. Arguably it had better than average player retention for a singleplayer game.

Statistics are so damn easy to make say whatever you want, whether through intent or ignorance. Considering this is a leftist normie, I'm assuming ignorance.

Lying leftists always lie.

  1. Use chart scaled to 1M
  2. Pretend the player count is 0 instead of what it actually is.

For fun. 15x Depression Quest's all time high, despite non-stop promotion and dick-sucking (pun intended).

Even more kek-worthy

FFXVI will likely have the same damn thing when it releases on Steam. That's how it is with single player games. Fate/Samurai Remnant will probably drop faster, being a lot more niche, though it might pick back up with the future DLCs.

Square enix just fucks themselves on pc. They releasing final fantasy games on steam 6months to 12months after exclusive release on playstation or epic game store.

By time it comes to steam, their potential buyers dont care as much. People either pirated it because it was on epic or people just watch entire gameplay of it on youtube.
