Denying entry to Larry Elder tells me everything I need to know about this debate. He's at least as credible a candidate as several of these nobodies.

What happened with Larry Elder?

He didn’t meet the donor or polling thresholds, I believe.

Whether or not that’s true or if they just wanted an excuse to exclude him is anybody’s guess.

My understanding is that he had polls showing that he met the threshold and Fox didn't like those polls.

supposedly it was RNC that refused to accept rasmussen, and that left him under the threshold for polling.

Yeah, they said it was because Rasmussen had ties to Trump, or something stupid like that.

Rasmussen polled pretty reliably compared to others, hence why it was unacceptable.

If you go to the RNC parking lot, and close your eyes, some say that you can still hear the bus driving Ron Paul's delegates in circles.

It's hilarious that the Trump team did that joke website labelling this as the 'VP nomination debate'

He has pretty much won on the Republican side, it makes it REALLY obvious why the Dems are pushing covid measures so hard right now.

Not to mention the lawfare. Shit that Democrats (and GOP) were doing anytime before 2020.

Can't be the VP Nomination Debate. Larry Elder and Kari Lake aren't on it.

All there is to say is that an Indian is the frontrunner of that pack. Not a single one is a serious candidate

The Indian guy is ok but part of me feels he is saying the right things to get elected but he will not do it. For instance he said he was going to pardon Trump, I honestly doubt it. He is just saying that to get the Trump base on his side.

He reeks of being a bullshit artist. I think part of the reason he is doing best is that he's a political outsider so he lacks the shitty track record of these other turds.

Exactly. If you have personal experience with Hindu Indians then you would never trust them with leadership like the presidency. Vivek wouldn't survive a deep dive into his political views (or his pharma work) prior to covid. He might not even survive a shallow dive.

I got to say though, dude has balls for trying to sell his Hinduism as part of an ecumenical "return to spirituality."

Given how Indians operate within other industries, I absolutely don't want one in any position of political power in this nation, regardless of how much I may agree with his rhetoric.

At a press conference:

"Dear Americans, please do the needful and turn yourselves off and back on. Then status me the results."

One second later:

"Have you completed? Kindly status me, please, okay?"

Would Trump be the guy who just starts by texting a woman saying, "Show Tits"?

I remember in around December 2020 having a dream where I somehow was speaking with Trump and told him something like "if you decide to take this all the way, just tell me what do do and I'm your guy."

Well that didn't happen, but I can confidently say my dreams would never involve me saying that to any of these fucking losers.

Also DeSantis blue tie LMAO. Who the fuck is advising this guy, and why isn't he smart enough to ignore them? He should be wearing a necklace of teeth or ears or something like that. "These are from the bureaucrats who refused to follow my orders. Unlike Trump I don't tolerate that, and I make sure they can't do it again. And I warn others who might have similar ideas."

Ever since the 2008 housing crash it's been hard to trust insiders. Fuck those greedy bastards. I'd say every presidential election since (save Biden) was won by the person who best ran an "outsider" campaign.

The Republican Party was putting forth fucking Ted Cruz as its 2016 frontrunner before Trump forced them to pick him. Not post-Trump meme machine Ted Cruz, but blander than butter Zodiac Killer Ted Cruz.

That should tell you everything you ever need to know about what they consider good qualities in a pick and how little they actually want to win.

Lyin'/Lion Ted Cruz is still, somehow, one of our better establishment allies.

Somehow, Ted Cruz is a better choice than Dan Crenshaw.

2016 Ted Cruz was none of those things. The only reason he has any remotely likable or useful qualities is because he lost so hard he was shook loose of his inhibitors.

I'm fine with him now, as he is certainly near the top of our Congressional picks (not a high point of praise), but no one should have ever looked at old Ted and thought him capable of winning anything.
