You're right . Im not MAGA. Why would i want America to be great when America is nothing but israel's puppet? When America is great, the rest of the world suffers because America either blows up other countries for israel, or spreads wokeness to other countries, for israel. I'm going to have to reconsider how much of a Trump supporter I am, though, based on what happens in the next week or so. Which is a shame, as he has been the greatest president in my lifetime. Low bar, but he's still the greatest.
Another sandwar would be a bridge too far, though. If this evil leads to that greater evil...not only will I be off the Trump Train, but it will be damn good timing, since the whole fucking train will be derailing in spectacular fashion.
The next couple weeks will go a long way towards deciding if he remains in a league of his own, or is just king of the trash heap.
That being said, if Trump continues to spend significant time, energy, and American resources on cucking for Israel, while extremely depressing, people still need to focus on extracting us much value as we can out of the rest of his presidency. If we could get a holy grail like ending birthright citizenship, then his terms won't have been wasted.

I would say the difference there is that our commitment there began under Obama and so it was a preexisting war that he had to finish up. This time he is the one starting shit. That's what makes this such a problem.

Are you unaware of the fact that ISIS, and most (all?) of the Syrian "rebels" who were fighting against Assad were created, manned, funded, armed, and trained by Western powers through the CIA and Mossad? We were absolutely involved in ousting Assad, and were involved for years.

If it doesn't devolve into anything more than that, then it isn't functionally much different than a couple incidents during his first term. Just much more risky given the specific contexts, but if the risk doesnt bloom into anything particularly harmful then it's pretty much the same in the end.
Very worrying state of affairs but functionally speaking we are not past the point of no return for this becoming a debilitating and drawn out conflict.
Edit: To be clear, there is realistically some level of trust it will be hard for him to ever win back after this. Unless he directly goes against Israel's interests, people will rightly assess that he is partial to them or compromised by them in some way.
This might lead Iran to actually try to get a nuclear weapon. It might lead to Iran becoming a failed state, destbilizing the region even further, and sending 10 million 'refugees' to Europe... destroying the continent.
It's different from joining in the free for all melee that was Syria, already a failed state.
Sure, that can all be covered by "risk" but it isn't possible to judge the result of that right now. That being said, highly unlikely for Iran to collapse unless this escalates significantly and becomes a very drawn out conflict. Of course, many are frothing at the mouth for that exact outcome and orange man has done little to inspire belief that he won't listen to them.
Realistically, Iran has always been highly incentivized to get nuclear weapons, and the last couple weeks has only made that incentive greater.
At this point it may be better for everyone involved if they do have them, sadly. Except Israel but they can get bent at this point.
I'm not as confident in my prediction skills, or yours. It seems to me that Israel wants to make Iran a failed state like Libya, one that it can invade and bomb with impunity as it does with Syria. Things will go very bad when that happens in a country of 90 million (sry Ted).

A quick search says that they used 14 bunker buster bombs and the bombs look to cost 15.7 million each for a grand total of $220 million not including any personnel costs or any other costs related to the mission.

Thanks for the link! If the program cost 314M, then they'd only have 20 of them at 15.7M each. I'm thinking it's more like 2M each. A Tomahawk missile costs around that much & has engines & much more complex electronics.

Well my church has roughly 100~ attendees, and when the pastor brought it up (as a launching off point for a sermon on anxiety and letting it go) about 4 people cheered outloud. So you can probably assume probably quadruple that was in silent support of it just to pull a random guess out.
And since a small church in a red county is almost certainly all Trump voters, that's less than a quarter. Its still far too many, but its one of the reasons why I don't think "MAGA cultists" are as widespread as people claim.
