Putting aside his appeal to the pseudoscience of cultivation theory, this shit about men’s expectations isn’t even true. Men are out here enthusiastically fucking hard 4s. The most that 90% of men are asking for in a woman is “weigh less than 200lbs, don’t be a hoe, and be nice to me”. And yet that is an impossibly big ask for most western women in 2024.
They really are triggered by conventionally beautiful characters in media. And it’s not every character or a majority of characters or even a plurality at this point. Leftists have successfully converged most of the industry, so most female characters have caught the ugly by now. We only see small pockets of traditionally feminine or sexy female characters in video games anymore.
You would think this to be a tremendous victory for the feminists, but they still mad as fuck. Why? Because they can’t tolerate even one divergence from their orthodoxy. When an alternative to their ideology enters the market place, there is a danger that players might choose the hot girl over the woke ones. Not only does this threaten to upend leftist control, it also proves that no matter how much influence they wield over us, our standards and preferences remain unchanged. Because these things are not decided by media, and they cannot be handed down from above. Beauty is real, it is largely objective, and it is infinitely preferable to ugly leftist creations.
