Personally, I can't fault someone for coming up with a catchy soundbyte and headline. If only his argument didn't stick to 'only two tribes', whether it's learned behavior or intentional. I'd bet the majority of covid skeptics aren't against polio vaccination.
I'd bet the majority of covid skeptics aren't against polio vaccination.
While this is correct, this whole affair has caused me to wonder if maybe I should be. That's the lasting tragedy in all of this: the medical industry's credibility is irreparably damaged. I can never trust them again.
The industry, from hospitals, insurance, and pharma is dysfunctional since Americans decided to listen to proggies and cronies instead of libertarians. Any public mandates should be rejected for pragmatic reasons, not just ideological sentiment. It's valid for schools to require vaccination, but not while compulsory schooling and public-schools w/o vouchers are a thing.
When I saw a timeline showing the polio vaccine come out after the rate of new cases was already in decline, and a resurgence of polio immediately following the vaccine; I started thinking about whether I should be, too.
I'll say here what I said elsewhere about the vax.
If he believes that people were lying about the vax, and that not enough info was out there to make a clear decision, then there was no reason not to wait and see along with the rest of us. Regardless of your like/dislike of government or corporations, at the time there was not enough info to make a judgement call.
The fact that they wanted to classify the info about the vax for 70 years was more than reason for me to never get it. And it should have been for him too. No one hides all the good positive information from the public if they want to encourage you to do something.
Hell, I avoided it out of laziness or inertia. Then when all the adverse reactions began to be reported, I congratulated myself on my sage forethought.
The government’s tell that it was all a lie was the fact that they were giving it away. IF Covid had been as deadly as they claimed, and IF the shot was really safe and effective, a single dose would have been hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.
I specifically remember two ad campaigns for it. One was winning free Krispy Kreme donuts for life, and the other was a video of then-Mayor of New York City Andrew Cuomo (brother to CNN's Chris Cuomo) doing a commercial where he ate a hamburger and had the most disgusted look on his face like he couldn't stand the taste. "When you think of vaccination, think of this" he said, as he tempted you with free burgers for showing your Vaxx card.
I supported Operation Warpspeed. Hell, I still do.
Removing safety and regulatory barriers is literally the only way you were ever going to be able to get a vaccine for a novel virus within 5 years, let alone 1. If you are told that 20 million Americans are dead by December, then you are going to have to cut corners. But that by definition means the idea that it is "safe and effective" is entirely out the window. By definition, there is no way to do long term testing. By definition, you should treat it like chemotherapy to cancer: if you're dead anyway, you might as well give it a shot. All it was ever gonna do was keep you out of the hospital, and that's important because the fatality rate for going on a respirator with Covid was 85%. The moment Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectine could be used to treat symptoms, those were always the better alternative.
This also means that under no circumstance should it be mandated. The virus was endemic by April of 2020. No vaccine on Earth could have stopped it even at that time, and still can't. All of "Zero Covid" is a malicious criminal fraud, that has no basis in scientific reality.
I knew all this at the time in 2020, and I was here with all of you. We're not leading scientific "Top Minds", we just read some of the documents and understood the obvious. There's no excuse for what happened in 2020, and no amnesty for it either.
I get the sentiment, and I agree that in extreme ciecumstances risky decisive behaviour is justified.
What I don't understand, and I don't get why this isn't a bigger talking point, is why we thought a vaccine would work at all.
By the time serious talk about developing a vaccine was underway, we were already on the second major variant of the virus, and there were around 1000 sub-variants that had also been observed. By the time the vax was released for Alpha, we were on Omnicron and Alpha was basically extinct.
There will never be a vaccine for SARS-COV2 because, even if you do everything by the book, test it to the nines, a new strain will bypass it before it can be developed. In much the same way that, despite giving the flu shot for 30 years, flu rates haven't noticably dropped.
Fundamentally, the issue isn't so much that a vaccine could work, in theory it can, and you can develop vaccines for multiple strains. It's just that this thing was never a vaccine in the first place.
Novavax is the only group producing an actual protein based vaccine that could actually create immunity. So what did the FDA do? Ban it's dispersal to the American public by refusing to give it the emergency status the fucking mRNA ones got until fucking September of last year, even though it had been available since January of 2021.
Being against "one" vaccine doesn't make you 'anti-vaxx', Scott. It just means the efforts put into pushing it onto absolutely everyone were questionable enough some didn't bend over and forego lube.
It makes as much sense as calling me anti-seatbelt because I don't have one installed on my riding lawnmower even though I wear one when I'm in the car.
But if you're going to tell me that the risks and benefits of the seatbelt in my car are exactly the same as if I put one on my lawnmower, I might start to wonder if wearing the one in my car was worth it.
I mean if we could win a prize, we'd probably chose to retroactively remove the vaccine from all those that were pressured to get it like our friends, families and colleagues.
We're not really going 'told you so' (well there's a few bit they're assholes anyway) it's more remember this for next time
No I know a lot of friends that work in physical therapy and reflexology, so close contact is required. When all the lockdowns happened they were out of work, they adapted but were just barely making ends meet.
When they were told if you take the vaccine you can work again, some folded because they wanted to be self reliant again only to be told after they had to wear PPE anyway then a few months after it didn't matter. It was just a gut punch again and again of being taken for a ride.
This isn't about "winning" some hypothetical debate, this is about getting people to join the fight that's still happening!
Everyone who got the jab was the victim of an unconsensual medical experiment by the WHO and any national government sick enough to take their advice. Getting them to understand that isn't some kind of moral victory, it's part of a life or death struggle we're in against those who see us as serfs.
I don't want the jabbed to be contrite. I want them to be angry. I want them to show every bit of vitriol, hate, tribalism and self-rightiousness they displayed over the last three years, but against their actual enemies.
We're on the same side, we always were. But the last thing I want to see, after the crap they all pulled on us, is for them to lay down and give up now.
When counting flu deaths for the last half century, we’ve always used the Case Fatality Rate to extrapolate the Infection Fatality Rate. This provided us with a more realistic - and far lower - death rate for seasonal flus and epidemics. But the powers that be decided to report the covid CFR as the death rate, which increased the perceived lethality of covid at least tenfold. Why were they changing protocol to deliberately and massively exaggerate the death rate?
They literally changed the definitions of both “vaccine” and “herd immunity”. This was simply gaslighting on an industrial scale.
Hospitals received thousands of dollars in government money for each case where covid was listed on the death certificate. This payment increased to almost $40k in cases where patients were put on ventilators. This was at a time when most revenue streams for hospitals were shut down. Doctors were massively financially incentivized to count as many deaths as possible as “covid deaths”. They even counted deaths as covid-related in cases where there was no positive test, only covid “symptoms”. Recall that covid’s symptoms encompassed basically all flu and cold symptoms.
Ivermectin, one of the safest drugs ever created, in widespread use across the globe for years, with hundreds of millions of human doses administered, a drug that is available over the counter in numerous countries, and given to every refugee who enters the United States… was systematically demonized as a dangerous experimental treatment intended exclusively for horses. Industrial scale gaslighting. Because it turns out you can’t get an emergency use authorization (EUA) for experimental vaccines if an effective alternative treatment option exists. So every candidate for alternative treatment had to be systematically slandered as dangerous, even in cases where the drug is known to be completely safe.
Pfizer deliberately sabotaged their own control group. At the three month mark, they informed the control group of their “unvaccinated” status and offered them the injection. With no intact control group, there was no long term safety data for the vaxx. We now know that any protection conferred by these mRNA injections turns negative after three months… the precise timeframe for Pfizer’s sabotage of their own study.
All of this info was publicly available. Most of it was right there in the “trusted mainstream sources” if you were willing to read past the headlines. Tack on minimal research and it was obvious that we were being manipulated by our governments and big pharma. The only tough pill to swallow was realizing the extent to which our “trusted medical professionals” were in the bag for Pfizer and corrupt government orgs like the CDC and the WHO.
Facebook worked with big pharma to censor all groups where people talk about their vaccine injuries.
Pfizer changed the trial goal DURING the trials:
They initially had mortality as the trial endpoint but changed it to ‘infection as determined by pfizer’s administered PCR test’. They changed it because more people were dying after their ‘vaccine’
Don't forget all the dancing Tik Toks. If the hospitals were as overburdened as reported, there would've been NO TIME for that stupid shit. Or the hospital staff going out and protesting for that matter
Every other thing aside, I don't understand why all the vaxxtards were so eager to take a shot. What if it had been a horse suppository? What if it was a drip system in a prosthetic finger and you had to have a working appendage removed?
The fact that "let's wait and see if they come out with a pill" was not the majority position is all I need to sleep peacefully while everyone else develops heart disease.
Because it was a virtue signal that gave them the justification they needed to feel superior, break up their families, cut off their friends, and attack their neighbors.
The first time I mentioned I hadn't been vaxxed to a friend of 35 years she called me a flat earther. I haven't spoken to her since and never will again
I told one friend I wasn't vaxxed, who then told another, who told another and just just like that a few people stopped speaking to me for no apparent reason.
It took me a while to understand that I was being ghosted because I'm a filthy anti vaxxer.
And all these people have had covid, while I haven't.
I had Covid over Xmas and NYE, unvaxxed, and for me it was 2 days of body aches followed by a week of sniffles. My vaxxed 'friends' were laid low by covid. Vax actually made it worse
That depends on what you got. If they got the Alpha strain, they'd get fucking BTFO'd by that sum-bitch. We don't hear about it anymore, but there were people who fucking lost their sense of taste for months at a time, even after all the really bad symptoms went away. If you got sick recently, you're looking at one of the weakest strains.
This is a war between good and evil as far as I'm afraid, and "good" is the young rapscallion trying to take on a fucking mega-demon.
It is best to try and preserve those social relationships, so that you can become a trusted confidant for advice, wisdom, and perspective. I've tried to do the same thing with my friends and co-workers. I don't push back on their believes too hard, I just try to walk them through the thought process because they've never even considered a different perspective most of the time.
The continued cope from people who are now realizing those they considered paranoid, low IQ, retards are now in a better position than they are is my favorite part of this timeline.
Especially as it will take probably a decade before it stops, because eventually the powers that be will begrudgingly admit to the problems and even the most ardent defenders will try to snake back to this side (silently, without ever admitting of course).
I simply saw that all of the worst people on Earth wanted me to do it, so I didn't do it. It's very easy to use this one weird trick to make the right choices.
He's always reminded me of a baby bird--his baldness suggests total hairlessness. And his mannerisms are aggravating because he's one of these arrogant assholes who snarkily reminds everyone how stupid they are . . . like an autistic fifteen-year-old.
The gene therapy you championed is a harmful failure.
The hysterical propaganda according to which "vaccines saved humanity" is pushing me towards rejecting all vaccination because its proponents keep lying.
Yes there are several vaccines that reliably immunise the recipient for a low risk of mild to severe effects that make the risk worth it shall the person wish to tale it. Like all treatments, there are varying risks and benefits for each of them.
Some that were routine turned-out to be totally useless on follow-up studied because their "efficacy" was an accidental correlation to improved life conditions, like the anti-tuberculosis vaccine. It dosen't work. It's being discontinued all over the world as each country's "experts" reluctantly admit they were wrong and it dosen't immunize, dosen't reduce transmission and dosen't improve outcomes when taking a step back and having better studies. ( Sounds familiar? )
Childhood mortality started sharply falling before vaccination, and humanity was steadily increasing in numbers before the vaccines. Why? Better hygene, more and better food, antibiotics, etc.
When you push agressively for systematic chickenpox vaccine, which loses its immunity effect after a few years, I'm out. Infection grants lifelong immunity. The virus is never going away because the vaccine fails too often. Post natural-immunity exposure is protective against shingles.
Vaccinating children against chickenpox creates an oppprtunity for adult and senior checkenpox infections.
It should have been reserved for high-risk children, period. But you can't accept that. Submission to every vaccine must be total or the black sheep is a "dirty antivaxer".
Your trigger-hair response to criticism of vaccines make you supress studies on the harmful side-effects of them. You decided they did no harm when clearly they did. Because you must "own the antivaxers" no matter how many you harmed and killed.
So I will become the "anti-vaxer" because you have to be stopped before you kill more people with vaxcultist sledgehammer public health mandates.
I recommended my grandparents to get vaxxed because I didn't want them to die. I stand by that and all the data supports that.
I also - the moment they got COVID - told them the vaxx would not be enough to keep them safe (they thought it would and weren't going to go get any meds) and told them to call their doctor ASAP and get the best antiviral meds, which they did, they got Paxlovid, and they said it made a world of difference and helped them recover quickly.
The data, from Pfizer, that was only released after a lawsuit, was the only data decision makers (safe and effective) had at the time. It was entirely unconvincing and pretty much predicted what is happening now.
They initially had mortality as the trial endpoint but changed it to ‘infection as determined by pfizer’s administered PCR test’. They changed it because more people were dying after their ‘vaccine’
First, the fact of no data with an experimental treatment is all the info I need to decide not to get it.
Second, there was tons of population level data that clearly showed death rates weren't generally up. There was data to show that cases and deaths were actively being over-counted. There was data that showed who was getting sick in terms of age and risk factors (cough retirement homes cough). There were studies showing effective alternative treatments. There was a ton of data throwing the official narrative into question, if not complete falsehood.
I would love to see Adams ask a "skeptic" to send him the data they used to make their decision (I've got about 100 bookmarked pages and files) rather than just chaulk it up to luck.
I’d rather Crowder went independent, but he’s clearly just trying to drum up drama about all this to launch his own thing, and that I don’t like. Love Crowder, but not that. Pretty sure he’s bipolar.
I literally just gave an example of why it's not just drama lmao.
Edit: He was banned for discussing the cdc data itself and quoting them. This would run afoul of DW's comtract terms. I can remember how the DW adamantly refused to address it till youtube allowed it.
And Crowder knows they’re the ‘play by the rules brand’. If someone sends you a deal you don’t like you red line it and send it back, and plenty of times you can’t make a deal. Everybody does that. The only reason Crowder is making this a big public thing is to drum up drama and publicity for his own launch.
I know the many reasons Crowder’s been banned, I’ve been in Mug Club a while. Crowder most likely left The Blaze for similar reasons. They can’t support him on terms he’d like if he gets banned all the time.
I’m not saying Crowder SHOULD have been banned. That’s a different thing.
As an analogy: I’m sure DW has made Alex Jones offers. And I’m sure they couldn’t come to an agreement because he gets nuked everywhere. Which is why Jones stays on his own.
I like Crowder the most out of all the conservative talking types. And even I’d be hesitant to ever do business with him after this. He’s willing to blow up the internet with private conversations to either leverage a better deal out of you, or use the drama to profit. That’s bad business.
His own independent Mug Club membership platform, kind of like what Tim Pool did with Timcast, only presumably just being the Crowder show and them screwing around, not an attempt at a media network.
You’re probably right. Unfortunately most people here are firmly in the pro-Crowder, anti-DW camp. I don’t think they’re really viewing this objectively.
Crowder framed his side as “we need to stop catering to big tech censorship rules,” which isn’t really the issue. I think everyone would like that, but you can’t use their platforms if you do that, and DW’s business model is catering to them there and then on their own site having whatever they want. Same as Crowder’s really, only they avoid hot button topics. The only real way to do that is to make your own platform like DW did and then take the blows as they come on social media. Crowder probably left the Blaze because he kept getting banned and couldn’t do ad reads to the audience sponsors had paid for.
The real issue is them giving him an offer and them him either trying to leverage public opinion against them by recording and leaking their very rudimentary negotiation, or just making a big public display at their expense in an attempt to launch his own service. That’s a dick move you just don’t do in business. Tim Pool got the same kind of offer and declined to do his own thing and they still help each other out. That’s how it should have been with Crowder.
Crowder positioned this very smartly so that most people — who don’t know anything about business contracts — would instinctively side with Crowder. This is extremely diabolical, if truly intentional on Crowder’s part.
Only argument I can see for it not being intentional is that Crowder’s bipolar and is in manic mode. Crowder has signed plenty of deals like this. Shapiro was his first fucking lawyer coincidentally.
I looked at data but you can never be sure what’s real and what isn’t, and we never know anything that quickly anyway. I saw high end data simulations showing we’d all end up probably getting it anyway, and nobody I knew and even nobody they knew was at all dying from it. Then on top of that, there wasn’t a chance in hell we’d develop a vaccine for a coronavirus in less than a year when we hadn’t been able to do that for influenza. Then when they kept saying the shot would protect you from new variants, I double knew they were just saying shit. They even said the shot would be better than natural immunity, as in having gotten Covid and gotten over it.
The people that supported it the most were also known liars and bullshitters.
Dumb fuck still doesn't get that it's not about winning or "anti vax"
To his ego it's all about him having won the argument
Exactly. I'd love to be proven wrong on this and not have to be concerned that a loved one who was conned might die of suddenly.
Personally, I can't fault someone for coming up with a catchy soundbyte and headline. If only his argument didn't stick to 'only two tribes', whether it's learned behavior or intentional. I'd bet the majority of covid skeptics aren't against polio vaccination.
While this is correct, this whole affair has caused me to wonder if maybe I should be. That's the lasting tragedy in all of this: the medical industry's credibility is irreparably damaged. I can never trust them again.
They'd kill me for their own convenience, for good-boy points from the state, because someone with my blood type needed an organ, probably.
They're not special. They're tradesmen in a different line of work.
The industry, from hospitals, insurance, and pharma is dysfunctional since Americans decided to listen to proggies and cronies instead of libertarians. There were so many alarm bells and red flags you'd have to be fucking spastic not to realise
I supported Operation Warpspeed. Hell, I still do.

Who told him it was a vaccine? Oh, wait, that's right. The CDC after it changed the definition of a vaccine for the injection to meet it.
It's actually a therapeutic injection. That's how bad this shit has been.
"Vaccine".
I have more.
"Laser."
"Preparation H".
It makes as much sense as calling me anti-seatbelt because I don't have one installed on my riding lawnmower even though I wear one when I'm in the car.

Against vax madates and Vax-pass segregation? You're an anti-vax now.
I mean if we could win a prize, we'd probably chose to retroactively remove the vaccine from all those that were pressured to get it like our friends, families and colleagues.

We don't hear about it anymore, but there were people who fucking lost their sense of taste for months at a time, even after all the really bad symptoms went away. If you got sick recently, you're looking at one of the weakest strains.
I don't think that's a good idea.
It's crazy they demonized Ivermectin which had a proven track record
The continued cope from people who are now realizing those they considered paranoid, low IQ, retards are now in a better position than they are is my favorite part of this timeline.
Especially as it will take probably a decade before it stops, because eventually the powers that be will begrudgingly admit to the problems and even the most ardent defenders will try to snake back to this side (silently, without ever admitting of course).
I'm looking forward to the "We were always the people against the gene therapy injection" in ~10 years.
Pure Bloods only.
I mean… there is a scenario where most living people claim that they opposed the vaxx, and they will be telling the truth.
I simply saw that all of the worst people on Earth wanted me to do it, so I didn't do it. It's very easy to use this one weird trick to make the right choices.
This is why I don’t support Ukraine.
Exactly - anything that Gates, Schwab and Soros want is anti-human
What a dick.
Stage 5: Acceptance.
"broke the internet"?
He's on the posting timeline where he either starts HRT or kills himself within 5 years.
2:20 to hear him repeat 'you won, I lost'. What a stupid video.
I don't want you to "take defeat', I want you to feels the effects of what you tried to FORCE ON EVERYONE ELSE.
Pfizer lied during the trials:
They initially had mortality as the trial endpoint but changed it to ‘infection as determined by pfizer’s administered PCR test’. They changed it because more people were dying after their ‘vaccine’
All it was ever gonna do was basically keep them out of the hospital. That might be good enough in some cases, but not in all.
Yeah, I don't get his "there was no data" spiel.
I got most of my info from Crowder who supplied his sources for it. The same dude the DW would be fine suppressing
What would he be "launching"?
His own independent Mug Club membership platform, kind of like what Tim Pool did with Timcast, only presumably just being the Crowder show and them screwing around, not an attempt at a media network.
Funny because the DW lawsuit over covid rode off of Crowder's back. Crowder took the hit while they were still scared to speak out.
I'm literally a fucking lawyer
Only argument I can see for it not being intentional is that Crowder’s bipolar and is in manic mode. Crowder has signed plenty of deals like this. Shapiro was his first fucking lawyer coincidentally.
I mean, it wasn’t even that hard to be right about this. All you had to do was distrust “the experts” by default instead of trusting them by default.
