So 19-year-old women are still children, but pre-teens have the mental wherewithal to be able to decide what gender they want to be, but at the same time we can send 18-year-old men off to die for their country, but we can't legally allow them to drink or smoke until they hit 21...

Here we have the actual motivation. They just hate the competition for men's resources. They wouldn't be whining if their SMV exceeded that of these 19 year olds.
That’s the hard part when dealing with female criticism. All of it in part about all things is meant to benefit the speaker. Sometimes it could be making them look better and be seen in a more flattering light, like saying “I’d totally date a fat guy, I only care about personality.” Almost nobody prefers an actual fat person to someone that’s less fat if all else is equal. Other times it’s meant to coerce the listener, like “no, I don’t want you to work out, you should fatten up” so they can trap you and feel less insecure about you having options.
Men tend to speak in terms of facts, women in terms of feelings, and most of their feelings all concern themselves. They’re like drunken masters manipulating men even when they’re not trying. And that’s fine if we’re all honest about it. Taking it seriously and pretending it’s not true is where the problems happen.
I would wager that over 90% of 19 year old girls with boyfriends have a boyfriend who is over 21.

The entire concept of debating this is dumb.
Age of sexual majority (AoSM) is a wildly sliding scale that has, through history, been as extreme as "if you're not married-and-pregnant by 14, you need to pay special surtaxes simply for existing while single, you old hag" (colonial-era Canada), to "pious people are completely celibate regardless of age, the older the virgin the better" (many theocracies).
While it currently is on the older edge of the swinging pendulum, AoSM is a swinging pendulum, that generally adjusts itself as per the needs of the population. That is, the greater the threat to the population as a whole, the lower it will wind up being. Japan still endorses the "Christmas Cake" stereotype ("women, like Christmas Cake, are no good after the 25th"), because their population curve is horrific from a sustainability standpoint. The USA, which favors de-population and importing people instead, instead pushes for higher and higher AoSM numbers and social trends to wait 'til 30 to date or mate and instead work on your career or whatnot.
When the needs of the elite shift, the zeitgeist will shift, one way or the other, whichever they require. Some twitterd's hot take that adult women should be legally children isn't going to change that, but the lot of them should move to Australia if such a viewpoint is their preference, since they've made court decisions in the past claiming adult women with small breasts are legally children, so they might get some headway with their efforts there. More loonies are always welcome on the prison island.

I'm pulling this out of my ass, but it was probably Black Death times. If they didn't reproduce young, there wouldn't have been any more Europeans.
It was black death time, but this was more to do with place in society. Most noblemen retreated to their estates and locked the doors hard behind them. It hit the middle and lower class the hardest.
What's going on here? Is the overpopulation lie that persuasive? Are some people deliberately not having children because they're concerned about overpopulation? (I didn't think Bill Nye had that much reach.) Or is this depopulation strictly the result of people waiting until 30 to mate? And are they waiting because it takes more time to get financially capable of raising kids healthily?
Go back to the 90's where Captain Planet had an episode literally praising China's One Child policy and realize that's what was being pumped into the soft heads of children.
It's very sinister, especially when you consider that population collapse, rather than overpopulation, is the reality.

I think there are too many people in America. I think the trend towards not having any is a response to that. That doesn't stop the 3rd worlders because life in an overcrowded America is still way better than their 3rd world shithole. It's just a lag, though. The grandchildren, if not the children, of those already here will delay their childbearing. Of course, there may be new immigrants to replace them, in turn.
Just because not every inch is paved yet doesn't mean that we aren't overcrowded. The population has reached a point where our level of technology is not permitting increasing quality of life at these population levels. Deurbanization could help.

That's only true to the extent that men are breadwinners and women are meansless. With forced gender equality, you have women who are getting paid just as well as men (whether they deserve it or not) and have no need for a man. They won't "settle" for a man of their same, or lower, economic class. So they become wine aunts.
To spar against women in public spaces in some socratic dialogue is a meme. Logic is how men decide what to do. Women like to talk about what men do from their alternative perspective founded in a different way of thought.

It's not an argument it's a provable fact. Reality is inconvenient for you sometimes. They simply cannot be responsible for some of their actions and decisions because they are, well, women (childlike). They shouldn't have the freedom to take these actions and make these decisions in the first place. That's the point.
