Which game series is that? I've played Shogun: Total War and that one seems more like it was taking a period in Japanese history partly popularized by Clavel's book Shogun and running with it. John Blackthorne is Clavel's version of Adams for the book.

The Kennedy family have been weirdos and bad for the country since they were bootlegging. I'm glad he's apologizing. The commercial is fine, but maybe his mewling cowardice will cause the few fans he has to realize that the Kennedy name and family have always been a poison pill wrapped up in friendly news coverage.

I'm used to conservatives in general and Republicans in particular folding when facing the Feds, but this time looks a bit different. So far we are half an hour past the deadline and nothing is happening. Best case scenario is the feds feeling foolish and backing off so the Biden administration completely loses face. The states get back to doing their own thing. However, if things get hot I would hope the Texans would live up to their boasts and we see a bunch of hogtied Feds under arrest. Don't be mean though and brand all of them. Just the officers as a reminder that there is a price to pay for being a leader of men.

A Spaniard kissed a girl. The punishment should be that she doesn't slap him. The lack of slap makes him lose face. Anything else is foolishness.

Be it at thirty or forty, or if she's unbelievably lucky fifty, her world will collapse and she will die in drug addled self pity when the clients dry up.

It's sad to say, but Shudder is gay. I was considering reopening an old account on it to watch some Joe Bob over December and the first thing on their site was Dragula. I did not pay them a dime.

Ignore them. They're just dancing monkeys. There are well over a century of movies from all over the world waiting for you to explore. Some even have for real dancing monkeys. Dive in and have a few laughs.

Never forget his big break was staring in the mini-series Roots. Based on a book that plagiarized a fictional novel and tried to pass it off as history. He's been a black supremacist "We Wuz Kangs!" piece of shit since before most of the people on here were born.

So I want Samurai Warriors 4, but I don't want to buy a new console to get it. The Warriors series is pretty sweet.

On the off chance anyone here doesn't know about the moral relativism and hypocrisy of Hollyweird, look no further than the old Family Guy DVDs. On one commentary track Mila Kunis happily tells everyone about "dating" a guy in his twenties when she was under eighteen. The others point out that this is illegal, and she giggles and replies, "it wasn't illegal for me." They all start laughing. Danny Masterson is part of the same acting world of "It's okay for me" but he hasn't made lots of money for anyone in twenty years. That's why he's getting railroaded.

EDIT: And no I don't think he raped anyone, but Kunis just needs to shut the fuck up about rape, or for that matter anything.

He wrote the novel Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Fleming spent the last few decades of his life as a journalist and would spend his vacations writing novels. He did a few distinct departures from the norm, and a kids book about a magic car was one of them. The other big one was The Spy Who Loved Me. That one is a Bond book from the point of view of the Bond girl.

Many. They are okay at best. Read either of the Ian Fleming short story collections, or read Quantam of Solace which contains all his short stories. If you like those, read his novels in order. And yes that does include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

From the context of that episode doesn't that mean games are being raped by diversity? Surprise Culturally Enriched?

It's the sort of thing you don't hear much about unless you've worked a job in teaching or childcare. Basically it's teenagers, usually girls, who cut themselves to feel alive after some sort of trauma, or because they see their other friends do it and join it. The progenitor in most cutting groups was most likely molested or came from another group of cutters when they moved schools. The standard places for cutting are between the fingers and toes so it's easier to hide from teachers and parents. Sometimes high up on the thighs for the same reason. I encountered a cutting group at a job about a decade ago. The normally method for dealing with it is to hand the cutters off to a more experienced/trained adult and break the friend group up. Isolate the first cutter and get her some help. This is not the first time I've seen it almost being encouraged in media, but this is the most mainstream example I can think of. If you ever encounter a teenager who casually mentions "self-harm" to you, get away from them and let someone in authority over said teenager know immediately to protect yourself. You do not want to tangle with that Tar Baby by yourself.

Read some of the Doctor Who New Adventures books from the 90s. He almost certainly did in one of those.

Having flashbacks to Junior High, "Shylock is the hero because Shakespear was a Jew hating Nazi!" "Um I think Shylock is a gangster hated by Jews and Gentiles alike in the story. Did you read it Ma'am?" "Anti-Semite!"

You should have tried to crash it. Or arrange one of your own. New Year's parties work if it's too late put together a Christmas one.

Give Solomon Kane a try. 2009 fantasy horror action movie, based on Robert E Howard's stories. Pretty solidly pro-Christian, even though the writers got confused and tried to make Kane a Catholic instead of a Puritan and then switched him back. Much ass gets kicked in the battles against demons and their supporters.
