For me personally, I don't like the idea of trying for a society whose leadership clearly is working against me. 50% of my resources go toward taxes to support tyrants that use their power to undermine and harm me. Why would I want to support that? I am a slave so I will put as little effort into my work as I can and take 0 pride in it. If I can earn an income while avoiding taxes altogether or anything legitimate, I will.
Now, with that being said, I'm motivated enough by pussy to still put some effort in if it meant I could be banging hot chicks but the average good looking woman's demands from men for resources is absurd. I had a 24yo girl tell me she would marry me, be monogamous with just me and even have my kids if I could give her an allowance of $120k/yr (after tax) and that's on-top of what I'd need for myself. This is comparable to the number other women have thrown at me and comparable to what market prices are that women charge for their time to comfort men. Since earning $300k-500k/yr is not a realistic goal even if I tried, there's no point in trying.
Thus, overall, I am motivated to try as little as I can. The harder I work, the more money goes toward funding people who hate me and I can't earn enough money to buy the only thing I care to spend money on so trying is pointless.

In order to pay her a $120k net allowance per year, well, a good rule of thumb is that you need to earn roughly double that. This means a starting salary of 250k. Of course, madam also expects you to pay top tier house, a car, trave, private school for kids, orthodontics, top tier medical treatment, so the bare minimum you would have to earn to afford that is 500k.
I say bare minimum, because even 500k is pushing it. To comfortably afford her "requirements," a gross salary of 750k-1M is more likely.
Very very few people make that a year. Even senior software engineers at Microsoft and surgeons don't make that much. You'd have to be a top tier lawyer, a world specialist surgeon, or more likely a business owner.
But what if that's not what you want? What if you wanted to be a teacher, like me? An artist, a carpenter or even a regular doctor at a clinic? What if you wanted to devote your life to volunteering, writing or other pursuits than money? Every single person I've met earning 500k+ a year had a shitlife. 80+ hours a week, stressed all the time, strokes. What if it's not the life you want?
But OK let's say you can meet her requirements. There are more issues.

So now you have to pay her 10k, plus inflation, plus a settlment, plus money for kids, for life. Women live a long time. "Nah brah, I'll also hire a top lawyer and..." and you'll lose 9/10 times. Even your own lawyer will tell you to settle because men are worthless in familial court, or courts in general. No one cares.
But OK you had a few years of fun, maybe it was worth it? Maybe she got you a few kids and raised them okay ala Trump? Trump comes from another era, women like his previous wives don't really exist anymore, but hey, maybe you hit a miracle (a miracle wont ask for 10k a month but OK).
There are ways to attract women without money, of course, but it requires one or several of the following:
a) Fame, but this usually comes with money, so forget it.
b) Good looks, but again somehow this also comes with money. But let's say it doesn't. If you are born short/bald/etc, t oo bad
c) Charisma/understanding women. This is probably the easiest part for most men, but it is difficult, tedious and requires a deep long look at yourself. Women are very easy to manipulate. Pickup artists were wrong on many things, but they did understand female nature right.
The issue with c) is that the world has changed since the era of Mystery, DeAngelo, Chad (yes that was really his name) and so on. Now a woman can go on Tinder and get 100 men better than you in minutes, so in order for charisma to work, you have to be really sharp, really intelligent, and put a lot of work in. You have to really understand how women are raised (muh princess!) and their emotions, but if you do, you can manipulate pretty much 90% of women to be with you.
Of course if you are charismatic, you will go into sales/law and make a lot of money anyway
d) Connection. This implies going very, very deep in a subject. Think, becoming a chess grandmaster or knowing every Wes Anderson movie by heart. Then you can find a woman as obsessed as you and maybe build something.
e) Criminality. Women are attracted to criminals. You'd be shocked at how much mail from actually attractive women even sexual abusers get in prison. Literally men who roped (sorry!) and murdered children get marriage requests. It absolutely stunned me.

f) Being an ATM. While the woman above was asking 10k, let's face it, the odds of her getting it are... subpar to say the least. It's possible, but it's unlikely. The people who earn 750k-1M are not all idiots. Many are, but not all.
It's very difficult to earn 750k-1M before 35. At 35, you had a few relationships and experience under the belt. Will you waste it on some "average good looking woman"? Maybe, maybe not. Remember that although the game sucks for men at the bottom (the bottom being 90% of men), for billionaires, it's another story. The selection is wide and billionaires often end up with women from an upscale life.
So you can probably get some used up 30 women who sees the wall coming and wants to pop a few kids before it's too late, if that's what you want, for less than 2k net per month. That's way more affordable and in the 100-150k salary range (which by the way is what, less than 5% of people?)
g) Kindness. A rare kind of woman will respond to a man who is kind, respectful, assertive and in control. But this is less than 1% of women and you'll most likely fall into f, so it's a risky zone to play.
h) Some weird fetish scenario. As in, you become a doctor and date a nurse, but ofc this is also about money. Or you could become a BDSM master and stuff like that.
i) Become her therapist. If you are advanced enough in psychology, you can become her free therapist. Almost every woman is messed in the head and quickly she'll "fall in love" with you.
Those are the ten ways I can think to "get a woman" in today's world, (the tenth being money). Do notice that working hard, having a decent job, being a respectful man, etc. is not part of the solution, aside from being an ATM.
All this to say that yeah, cards are stacked against you. I'm in my mid-30s and even low-30s women are... used up, to say the least. It's just not attractive to me.
My suggestion to you would be - when you're tired - to go to Thailand and have fun, but unfortunately, you might get AIDS/std, so it's, again, not a perfect solution.

To "become her therapist" you have to already have her hooked in the first place and looks is how you accomplish that. If you aren't good enough looking, she's not going to bother to see you again for therapy. One other thing, I like women still in their party phase. I don't like women that are in their beta long-term security phase. For me to like a woman she has to treat me like I'm the alpha short-term in her party phase but I'm actually her beta long-term security pick (she just can't act like she's in this phase and that I'm her beta long-term. With whores I can at least dictate the relationship. With free women... Well, I've rarely found a free woman who meets these terms. Yes, there is a personality factor but it's way too ingrained in me. I've tried steroids to see if that might help with my personality and it helps a little but it's a subtle difference, not a prominent one. My personality is not good for women (or guys for that matter). I have one of those personalities that when you first meet me, you probably won't like me much or have no strong opinion either way but once you get to know me, then you'll like me. I find this works well for friendships with men but it's terrible for trying to hookup with women because the women have to give me a chance and spend enough time with me to "get me". Most "free" women don't do this. I'm friends with so many whores because I hire the whores and at first they don't really like/hate me and just stick around for the money but then once they get to know me they really like me and we become friends. Free women don't go on a second date with me and then move on so I actually have a really hard time with free women. I've had multiple girlfriends of guys I'm friends with tell me they didn't like me at first but now I'm like their best friend. Again, the only reason these girl got to know me enough to say that is because they were stuck having to hang with me because their BF was friends with me. If these women met me without their BF as a single free woman, she'd likely not like me and move on.
I've been aware of my personality defects for 10 years at least and I've put effort into fixing them. I'm way better now than I was 15 years ago but it's still not enough and there's just no way I can change my personality to what it'd need to be where free women love me from the moment they meet me. I just can't do it, it's not in my genetics.

You're right about the girl who said if I paid her $120k. Even if I had $120k, I know she's not worth it and I know for a fact she would cheat as you say, she also would try to have sex as minimal as possible while not being into it and I hate playing that game. That's the issue with paying for women, you're always trying to ensure she puts out and she's always trying to put out as little as possible. If you acquire women based on looks then at least they want to fuck you. I'm not even sure if I can overcome my looks deficit with surgeries though. I wish there was something like a looks consultant who could basically tell me exactly what I'd need to do to look hot enough for the women I find attractive, without getting tattoos.
It's actually pretty easy to become her psychologist IF two conditions are met:
You get past the initial "wall" that women put in front of 99% of men (anyone but chads/tyrones)
You don't mind being her fucking emotional tampon, and also having to endure a barrage of endless trite garbage, and still having to validate her "feelings" no matter what.
Trust me, 2 in particular gets draining, FAST. You can get 1 quite consistentally with some practive, but part 2 is where I'd give up. It gets incredibly tiresome to listen to her prattle and complain and bitch sometimes in totally ersatz ways. And then you have to step on your ego and make her feel better (women work by feelings) even if you feel like you're steeping on your own soul. Long term, it destroys you.

Speaking for myself - I find women unbearable in general. I teach teenagers and even there, most "women" are unbearable. I get along with male students 100 times better than females. There are a couple of exceptions of course, but I can count on one hand the number of females students I genuinely appreciated, and they tended to be the ones that excelled in my class. Boys on the other hand, I was a model/mentor/guide to at least 50. Not even joking.

I tried the numbers thing earlier in life. At one point I probably went on dates with 50 different women in a year. There were times I had 3 different dates on the same day. I never liked any of the women. The women were "okay" but their pros never outweighed their cons. I started learning how to filter girls out as I needed adaptation. I was spending way too much money/time trying to find a woman playing the numbers game. At my company in the last 5 years I have went from about $16 an hour to about $28 an hour. However, not only have my hours been slightly reduced to where I rarely get overtime anymore, inflation has made everything so much more expensive that I make less actual wealth than I did at the start despite technically making more per year.
