I know a few Gen X'ers and one or two Z's who feel like giving up because of money and relationship issues; some of whom made it harder on themselves by making poor life choices in their youth (and the system is unforgiving as hell). Not one of them ever said they deserved better, all of them were willing to work for it though.
On more than one occasion I loaned different friends a few dollars to keep bills paid and food on the table; one of whom was even homeless for a few weeks. For all the black pill content out there, I'd sure like to see some stories of people helping each other when things get real bad.
