I will keep hammering this point home, even if some hate to hear it:

I don't care how you feel about porn. I think pornography is bad. But - and this is huge - the current battleground is not about porn. Every single law is being pushed to further their goal of clamping down on internet speech. The powers that be can't continue to let us speak freely online; stopping that is one of their biggest goals.

You can hate porn all you want, but it's being used as a wedge to get rid of the only tool that let the right make such a big comeback, after the left's long march through the institutions.

The online right is dead in the water, if our opponents (and alleged allies) get their way. Free speech is more important than banning porn. It just is. And just like with gun control, banning porn doesn't actually even solve the issue. It just makes people feel warm and fuzzy.

The internet must remain free, or we lose.

These retards think banning porn will fix the West’s collapsing birthrates. Because once again, it’s all men’s fault that we’re not having babies. Men are jerking off all day because the option to do so exists, not because women are wasting 80% of their fertility windows on school, partying, and careers.

Our collapsing birthrates are directly correlated with the number of years that women spend in school. The only way to fix our birthrates is to completely reverse the effects of feminism. But you won’t see cuckservatives advocating to restrict female behavior in any way, so the below-replacement birthrates are going to be an evergreen problem, one that is simultaneously the greatest threat to civilization and also somehow completely unsolvable. Probably by design; as long as we are not permitted to address the real cause of birthrate collapse, assholes will have a convenient pretext to enact whatever “solutions” they can convince people to swallow.

These retards think banning porn will fix the West’s collapsing birthrates.

Honestly, I think that's still giving them too much credit. It's often not even about birthrates, sometimes it's as simple as "porn is icky" and "degeneracy bad." Which, sure, fine. But it's literally feels over reals, which is ironic since it's coming from "our" side of the aisle on this one.

Degeneracy is bad. But ending online anonymity and free speech isn't the answer, and it's not even worth the cost. Want to stop porn? Make the argument, tell people why it's bad, tell parents they should be keeping a closer eye on things. There will never be a perfect answer, sadly...just like there isn't with guns. Someone will find a way to misuse guns no matter what, someone who shouldn't have access to porn will get porn, no matter what. And shit parents who wittingly or unwittingly provide access to such things will always exist.

But we can't make laws on feels, and we can't violate people's rights, on either guns or speech. We have to be pragmatic. Any bill banning VPNs or requiring IDs for the internet should never be allowed off the starting line, no matter how good the rest of it is. And if it's built on such a shit foundation it's usually not good anyway.

The only thing they would be able to get away with is banning live action porn production for safety and trafficking reasons, anything else WILL be considered tyranny and will be ignored, challenged in court, and cause voter bleed.

If you stopped defending porn being available more people would defend free speech. Poisoning free speech with porn only allows attacks on free speech.

Its the same with guns, allowing whackos like trannies or violent nons legal access to firearms invites further regulation.

We need to distance our ideas of the 1st and 2nd amendments from these bad elements to cover that which was their original intent, which did NOT include lewd and salacious material as protected speech.

Poisoning free speech with porn only allows attacks on free speech.

You have it backward. They're the ones throwing anti-speech stuff into the anti-porn stuff, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Again, it's not about porn. This bans VPNs and stuff. It's a speech crackdown, not a porn crackdown.

Stop defending this dystopian nonsense. The government doesn't provide solutions, it only consolidates more power for itself. This is just more "think of the children" manipulations to get you to cheer them fucking us harder.

This is the traditional conservative position, but even if porn isn't free speech, that still doesn't justify such totalitarian measures as proposed in these laws.

This SHOULD be eviscerated by the supreme Court as this just violates the 1st amendment and free commerce in SO many ways.

In practice you would need to trust the government of satanic pedophiles to actually enact this, so until we have a based state of authoritarian chads who think exactly like me, I'll continue to advocate for zero-power-governance for these fucks.

There are a lot of naive people who think censorship will stop at canceling leftists for saying mean words on the internet when all it is is getting censorship's foot in the door to take everything you enjoy and make it impossible for anyone to make any political commentary that isn't state-sanctioned slop.

They've hated the porn. They've always hated the porn. Most probably still use porn or use Grindr or cheat on their wives and it doesn't matter because they'll still sign laws ban porn. And you bet your ass they're going to rewrite definitions to take your anime away too because they view sexy female characters as nothing but a distraction from you knocking up a real woman so she can pump out more state slaves.

At best it will be like the UAE where the filthy rich get to indulge in things people will rot in jail for. But they're not going to fully ban women from the work place, oh no. Get that "but if I keep supporting them eventually they'll kill off feminism before they ban my videogames and anime and porn!" out of your head because they will never, ever, let it be normal again for a man to work a job that will pays enough to support his working class or higher family. They'll thank suckers that continue to believe otherwise. They'll continue to send jobs off overseas if they aren't importing foreigners and writing new laws to let them do it faster. America is going to get poorer, America is going to get stupider, America is going to get weaker and sicker, and they're going to make it illegal for you to complain about it. You're going to open wide and swallow it all down and if you puke they'll make you lick it up.

The government has become American's very own private equity firm to hollow out and gut it like a jack-o-lantern. Grats to all the winners because it ain't you.
