JMS had intended for the character to be androgenous enough to be played by a male actor at first then change to female after using the triluminary. As it's now $CurrentYear+8 you can expect the reboot to not only go along with the original idea but to do so with all the subtly of a depth charge in a teacup.
Might want to rip them while they still work: I've had some DVDs stop working on me even though I've taken good care of them. The data layer delaminates from the plastic disc part, and instead of looking shiny they start to look "foggy"; and the drives can't read them.
