Reads like a fanfic.
Almost all the big subs are absolutely filled with LARP stuff like that. Stuff that "starts a dialogue" (and that dialogue is steered into creating the appearance of a false consensus). It fits in with the purpose of the activists having seized those subs in the first place: reddit is in the top 20 most visited sites on the internet; if you can wield it like a weapon, it's massive platform to set the public narrative on.
One of my favorites from the last month or two was this utterly incredible true story posted on r/aita ("Am I the Asshole"):
That was then followed up with an "update" post which was even more incredibly true and amazing:
LOL! There was and entire thread of stupid mf'ers (everyone except all the "removed by moderator" commenters? hmm....) that seriously believed the following:
Wow! So amazing! That the mtf guy was the most beautiful ever! That literally everyone sided with them! That everyone is keeping an eye on that evil sister, to make sure she doesn't abuse her future trans children! And then Albert Einstein clapped.
Seriously... who - in the fuck - would believe that happened??? Other than other trans activists, obviously?
That's a big ol' 'if something even remotely like that happened, OP left out a lot of details.' But I suspect the whole thing is bullshit. One of the big things, aside from the overall absurdity, is something about it gives me the feeling it was written by a woman, and OP claims to be "17m."
The only part that seems authentic is that the tranny plays Smash. That's it. So if there is even a specific tranny this story is slightly based off of, I'll believe that one single sentence of this story.
I'm going to assume that it was written by a mtf trans activist, as it contains every fantasy they have:
It's a complete mtf guy's power fantasy.
To add, there have been a lot of podcasts, TikTok’s, and reels that have come up recently that almost exclusively revolve around overly dramatic aita or relationship posts. Those subs are almost exclusively larps and astroturfing at this point.
In the words of the intellecutals of 4chan: Fake and gay--the gay part applying very well in this case, lol
How? He was either doing it on a work device, in which case he's actually an idiot, or he was doing it on a personal device, and if everything else said in this story is true he wouldn't have let you anywhere near him.
Again, how? Anyone with two brain cells who (rightfully) believes that the vast majority of women are hired for affirmative action because they're a special class also realizes that they're not allowed to mention that women are only hired for affirmative action because they're a special class.
It's like saying you work in big banking and you caught one of the hedge fund managers complaining that, "Man, there sure are a lot of jews." Everyone who knows about it and has an issue with it also knows that there's no way they're allowed to complain about it in a work setting (or even work-adjacent).
Are there even any MRA sites that haven't been blacklisted and banned by corporate firewalls?
It turns out, he was the only employee in the entire company writing functional code.
Bankruptcy imminent.
His firing boosted their diversity level, thus bringing up their ESG score and correlated funding, so they will be solvent for a while longer unfortunately.
So these cretin got a guy fired because he doesn't smile enough and expects them to do good work? Typical.
I believe it too, because I've dealt with enough women in my life that want to "fix" you. "You only need to come out of your shell", "I'm going to get you to be less quiet" and bullshit like that. See the thing is, leave me the hell alone. I'll talk if I have something to say People (women included) that have earned my respect like me. Random bozos wanting to fix me can go away.
No. It was fake as fuck. Don't worry about the made up guy.
Sounds fake until you remember that they’re now throwing dudes in prison for life based entirely on unproven female testimony. I imagine most male workers would not survive an organized campaign by their female co-workers to leverage feminist HR departments with false accusations of even relatively mundane behavior.
the source of the issue is the weaponized HR department. if someone is good at their job, it should not matter how socially awkward they are.
also, OP is a cum guzzling faggot. how do I know? quite simple: screenshot without source or archive.
Victim of the thought police
I can't comment on the veracity of the story but it seems depressingly plausible at any rate. Anyways sounds like he was looking for a way out at any rate, let them figure it out when he's gone.
And productivity dropped by half after he was fired.
I know the common response to this post is "it's fake" but bear in mind that socially awkward, shy and men who keep themselves to themselves (whether MGTOW or wanting to focus on work and believe work is not a place to socialise) are deemed an unknown quantity. Such men are considered unsafe and society will do everything in its power to keep women safe above all else. Women value their own safety above all else because of sexual dimorphism. Groups base their perceptions on others primarily based on the feelings and intuitions of women. So even if you call this story fake, chances are there are many men in such a situation facing their own MeToo moment, not for being a sex pest but for keeping themselves to themselves and not interacting with women.
Same.
Writing style seems too masculine. Fake/10.
People are suspecting this is fake, and it may very well be, but it's not the first time stories like this have come out. To be fair, those could be fake too, but there was a story a while back about a group of women, just like in this story (might even be the same), who were upset a man at work wouldn't spend time with them in non-work settings, but would hang out with men. They went to HR and tried to get him in trouble, I forget if that story ended with a firing though.
So, this story might be fake, but it's a might still be a trend women at work still at least fantasize about, and may even execute.
Work for a place with no HR department. Problem solved. Definitely the most uncontroversial think Twitter ever did.
TrollXChromosones?
This is why I wanted to like Imp, I really did. He had valid points to make.
The problem was that he went way, way too far in the OTHER direction.
creative writing scum have been ruining any "backstory" type subreddits since the begininng
Shit like this is why I'm really happy we only hire IT positions by internal referral. Nobody wants to be the one that brings in toxic misandrists or blurple haired crazy people like this is (probably fictionally) portraying.
Bonus is that it pisses off the sour old white women in HR because they can't gatekeep. The first time they see someone is when we're walking them over to fill out their assorted benefits forms.
And no this isn't a troll post. Troll chromosomes is like twoxchromones but for memes
It's piling it on pretty thick.
He's "extra mean" in code reviews (because you suck). Getting angry that he won't talk to her. Someone who's obviously a diversity hire complaining about someone pointing that out and attacking 'virgin white men'.
It's not impossible that this is what actually happened, but I'd say the likelihood is pretty low. This is what I would write if I wanted to make fun of female diversity hires.
While the story is certainly fake, its not beyond women to throw "socially awkward nerd incel" and "sociopathic dudebro frat boy" together because they don't actually think about how diametrically opposed those two groups would be.
Its why they act so scared of incels being able to trick them, because Chad always does and it must be because they both hate women and that gives them special powers.
"Brogrammer" was very popular 10ish years ago when feminists invented the fiction that the tech industry was dominated by frat guys and not introverted nerds.
Because of a troll post?
Also liberal women don't use half those terms. MRA isn't called MRA to them it's just incel, etc.
I also think it’s fake. It’s almost like someone asked an AI to come up with a story about a woman being harassed at a tech company because the terms don’t quite make sense in their context. Like brogrammer to describe an introvert or MRA instead of the usual incel slur.
Forgot to tell the Ai to make everyone clap
They used MRA before incel became common terminology. It's a screenshot I've seen before, no telling how old it is
MRA has made it into the liberal press. So I'd say it depends on how well read they are.
That said, the story overall sounds fake. That's just not the fakest part.
Nope MRA is still a pretty common insult they use. They've mostly gone to incel but MRA pops up all the time
It’s Reddit. Assume fake. That site exists only to manufacture “popular opinion” by pretending to reflect it.
It reads ChatGPT-y to me. But not ChatGPT at the same time. Possibly either a different writing AI, or they used it as a baseline then edited it.
It's years old, predating the current LLM craze.
Does AI do pointless parentheticals? That's clever if so.
You just need to look at the style to see it's very masculine. I bet that one text analyzer would say the same. Now, it's a twox sub but yeah it's probably a man
But then again, I'm tired, and I'm primed to read it as fake because I read the comments here before looking more closely at the post lol
