The summit is sponsored and attended by companies like Apple, Walmart, Amazon, McDonald’s, Uber, Hilton, Boeing, Pfizer and Google. Several government agencies, including the State Department, the CIA and the FDA are also listed as partners.

Those poor, oppressed minorities that have nobody to support them. However can they survive when absolutely nobody in the world stands up for them!

Slightly seriously: the answer is "not well" because they keep an heroing.

I'm surprised that Microsoft and Facebook weren't in that list.

Noticing who runs Disney is what gets people upset and will call you the bad guy.

For nothing else than simply noticing who they are, even if you aren't saying anything bad about them.

If the banking sector does collapse, hopefully some of woke capital goes with it… 🤞🏻

Remember when a bunch of these faggots had a big queer celebration on some island - and then they all started coming down with monkey pox? God has his ways.

Whatever, Disney. You just keep on hemorrhaging money. You won't last this waiting game, you will lose everything and we stand to win everything. So keep it up. Let that money fall like grains of sand in your hourglass.

Are we also just going to ignore the fact that this is clearly done as a "Suck it DeSantis" move, but it will directly bring millions of dollars into the Florida economy?

Well millions into the human sex trafficking market at least. Funny how major art and “lgbtq” events cause massive spikes in sex trafficking…

I have never understood why Disney as a company has ever courted this group. Their primary target audience was families. And this group can’t produce offspring. And when they started courting them they couldn’t legally get married.

I should have clarified I was talking about in the late 80s early 90s when they first started. 30+ years of going after a smaller market makes no sense at all. Why did they start in the first place.

"Disney Adults" are a massive portion of their audience and have been for decades. These are people who all skew Left and are an immediate financial gain, instead of needing to court a child who then brings a parent to pay.

The parks especially, which are constantly filled with complaints about adult people hogging up things so much kids can't experience a lot of it.

Seams a lot easier to get more “Disney adults” to just keep targeting a family.

A family won't spend their entire life's worth on your product. They'll see a few movies, buy a few toys, maybe go to the park once as a big saved up expenditure. Its a long term strategy that can fail if they don't become a coomsoomer hooked on nostalgia for a movie they saw as a kid.

A Disney Adult will spend 10s of thousands a year and will absolutely support whatever bullshit you shovel at them, and even defend it online for you for free. Its a far less risky investment with far more short term profit.

In a few decades when all the Disney Adults (whose existence sprung out of the 80s/90s big movies) die out, we will likely see if that changes.

Never got the Hype.

Go to Silver Dollar City, that place is awesome, has rides, and emphasizes simple living and classic American culture. I haven't been in years but I kinda wanna go back now thinking about it.

Never got the Hype

Its entirely the characters. Most kids have a sentimental attraction to at least one Disney movie, so being able to meet and see them is most the point.

Nobody cares about the rides at Disneyword/land, you get to ride like 2 a day because of the long lines and they are barely better than any other random park.

Why visit a fake castle when you can see a real fort?

Why go on neutered slow roller coasters when the fastest and most thrilling are elsewhere?

Why pay thousands of dollars for your family of four over 3 days when you can do a full two weeks for the same price somewhere else?

The triumph of marketing over plain common sense is baffling to me.

Orlando has a lot of other places to visit as well. Sea World, Universal, and smaller stuff like Andretti's or Fun Spot. Most of those companies don't care so long as you have money.

Wasn't there a parody or comedy cartoon where all the people were coming together for a degenerate rager and it was so large it created a blackhole or opened a portal to hell? This feels like the plot for several different parodies. My favorite is the Robot Party from Futurama, where they summoned all the world's robots to the Galapagos Islands to exterminate them.
