Maybe the single greatest quote that describes the shitbag left. These people don't deserve this country. All they ever do is enjoy/exploit our constitution/freedoms when it suits them; and then turn around and toss it all out the window once they've used it to gain power.
The radical left is either going to be dealt with, or it's going to be the end of us. They have no principles/morals. Everything is malleable in the goal of obtaining power, and then using it to force compliance with their politics.
One could argue that the kikes took over the gatekeeping by centralizing the content into convenient sites that they could then curate.
It was much harder to fight the opposition to their subversive narrative when every mod had its own PHPBB.

Was it really harder to fight? I think that the decentralized nature of the old internet meant that things never really were capable of reaching a critical mass of consciousness. Things were fragmented enough that you never really got a large portion of the population aware of the machinations of those will malicious intent because there weren't enough people with various pieces of the puzzle coming together to assemble a composite picture.

a lot of mod makers are off of nexus. they mostly post on twitter or have their own patreon, which is unfortunate.. its much harder to find stuff since its not centralized anymore.

I thought Nexus was pretty neutral when they allowed a mod that replaced a black female in Dying Light 2 to a (much better modeled) White female from the beta despite all the screeching by black supremacists.

They haven't been neutral since Zcul joined at least. Every time I saw some mod get locked down because it doesn't praise the rainbow, Zcul was involved. Now all of the other staff have fallen into line.
There was also a significant exodus of modders from Nexus when they created that whole "subscribers who pay Nexus can create mod collections that are integrated as a modpack" feature, which created tons of issues with creative control and author attribution.
Besides the obvious, one of the more obscure under-the-hood changes was that modders could no longer completely remove obsolete versions of their mods from Nexus if a Subscriber had created a modpack with their mod. For big, widely popular mods that already struggle to provide Discord tech support for people using their mod, this become a big concern, because it meant people would now start showing up asking support (or reporting bugs) for outdated versions of the mod from a modpack that might not even be fully compatible in the first place.
Prima donas like Arthmoor, who double-dip off open-collaboration/free-culture achievements, are not our friends. Frankly, Nexusmods should have required CC-SA like permissions from the get-go for file hosting, and had pages linking to mods hosted on other websites.
Filtering through tards who can't operate their computer, but expect others to hold their hand, was already bad enough before the DEI wave of the last decade. Creators really need to be drilled into their heads what a sampling bias is, and seen vs unseen in general (vocal minority that whines on mod pages vs silent majority). Platforms could do a lot to signify reputation before being allowed to hassle creators.

Nexus has had issues for a long time. I remember people comparing about them over 10 years ago, but back then it was more about slap fights between users and admins banning any criticism, and not culture war topics specifically.
Of course they also lost their mind when Trump was elected and for several years now have had their "no politics" policy that unsurprisingly been a "no politics I disagree with" policy.

I once wanted a skyrim mod that made all random guards and random bandits male. For me it just breaks immersion to have a medieval fantasy world with a 50/50 male/female fighters. Even if the fantasy world would have no physical differences between male and female you would still have more male then female fighters as you need a high birthrate to outset the high mortality rate that are a given in any medieval setting and it stands to reason that the one that gives birth would care for the children.
The mod itself was attacked with comments about how it was misogynistic to do so. The only reason that the mod stuck was that the author of the mod claimed he was gay and it played in to his fantasy. So the only way to make a mod that would bother leftists is to be some protected class.
Is such a retarded thing that you can have sex slaves and making children killable but you can't make a more realistic ratio of male/female fighters or in this case change a flag.
I can guarantee that if it was a mod to replace the star and stripes with an erect penis the mod would have gotten an award.

And yeah, I have Killable Children for Fallout 4, because I have Raider Children, and I have that because that's exactly what raiders would do - use kids. But the mod also gives you the opportunity to rescue kids before they're ruined, so. Can't be bothered with it in Skyrim, tho, too busy filling a massive museum to worry about the townie kids.
and by having the option to dispatch them, it makes rescuing them a virtuous option. Always hated how most games made the "good" option more rewarding- when you know that's going to be the most beneficial action, it robs it of any moral consideration and turns it into a calculation.

The nexus is now a woke site. Their fixation on alleged justice is ironic considering their draconian and predatory policy towards stealing their user's mods. They no longer allow authors to delete their own mods; once you put it on the website, it belongs to the nexus, and you consent by continuing to use the website. (The consent bit is in their TOS, which was changed spontaneously and which you cant click refuse on.)
They also have a ban on political mods, yet in practice no left wing mod is ever found to be political. Those are all allowed, even mods which are literally just fundraising pages for Ukraine. They clearly break the rules, but the rules arent enforced because it aligns with the moderators and owners politics.
Theyve also been cutting features and download speeds from non-premium users for years now. For a community allegedly focused on free open source cooperation, which only exists by getting free content from users, they sure are intent on monetizing things they dont own and locking people out. Theyre the Goodwill of mod websites. They get donations for free and then they charge you for it.
I used that website for close to ten years. No more. They wouldnt let me delete my mods, so I uploaded stolen content and useless shit as updates.
If you don't care about getting banned, maybe put some right wing political images in the mods, they'll be forced to remove it.

This is why i don't release mods, i make tutorials so the users can make them themselves.
i have 3000 Skyrim LE mods and 2000 FO4 mods that I have collected over the years and most are from nexus. About 1/3 of the links dont work anymore because either the mod author got banned, mod author left and removed the mod, or mod got removed by moderators.
