The destruction of the nuclear family and similar models has been the most devastating thing for society at large. There's a good chance that this explains a significant portion of why black culture within America is the way it is and results in a "Thug and Gang Culture" with rampant fatherlessness. The reform that should be done here is to revise the criteria for hiring so that it is based on criteria that optimizes education outcomes. So there should be further study as to which teachers produce the best and worst outcomes, and why, and then those criteria should be used in hiring decisions.
