I can see Space X's point here: federal law restricts them from releasing certain information and technology to certain countries. If you hire an employee from that country and grant them access to those items, it's tantamount to releasing that information to the restricted foreign country.

It's from the very early 80's and the animation is typical of the time, but the story is about the revolt and secession of an Earth colony in the future. It's got mecha like Gundam, but presents them fairly realistically and it takes a stab at real military tactics.
People die and politicians scheme and betray everyone. It's probably way too long and slow for modern audiences, but I can imagine it blowing the mind of a 12 year old of it's time.

I got dragged to it because the showtime for Oppenheimer was too late. It was OK; one of those movies that doesn't do anything wrong, or right, and is just kinda there.
I didn't really care that the majority of characters were black. I didn't notice any of the ghosts being the wrong race for the time period they were supposed to be from and the station in life they represented. The movie leans heavily on nostalgia from the ride, and there's a lot of inside jokes that you will only get if you memorize the ride itself.
All around , it was a perfectly forgettable matinee movie.
