just like how women dont watch sports to support women's soccer or basketball. women simply don't care. they voice support sure, but they will never watch sports on their own volition. XD..

You know a nogged media is pure content if even black people won't show up to see themselves on the moving screen, black people would show up in packed cars if a black painted a fence.

As the term "spook" is a racist term, making the "haunted" mansion be about BAME individuals is dog whistle racism, and the director should feel bad about it.

The only reason anyone saw the first one was because of Eddie Murphy. And it stank.

I was thinking that this one couldn't possibly be worse, but I guess I was wrong.

I got dragged to it because the showtime for Oppenheimer was too late. It was OK; one of those movies that doesn't do anything wrong, or right, and is just kinda there.

I didn't really care that the majority of characters were black. I didn't notice any of the ghosts being the wrong race for the time period they were supposed to be from and the station in life they represented. The movie leans heavily on nostalgia from the ride, and there's a lot of inside jokes that you will only get if you memorize the ride itself.

All around , it was a perfectly forgettable matinee movie.

The director self-promotes by advertising his victimhood as a 'queer/black creator' and he was responsible for the 'Dear White People' franchise.

Bad marketing. The movie was just not made for me. At least that was the message.

If the director and some of the actors kept their mouths shut, it probably would have done a little better. The actual reviews I have heard of it consider it mid and containing surprisingly little of <the message>.

I think that's the much bigger story. Its a forgettable movie that got barely any marketing and was sent out to die, with the distant hope that some wokeness would make some ripples for them.

And it didn't, literally no one cared because we are all still on the Kensanity so it got zero woke battleground articles to advertise it.

Is there truly that much difference between this and the other capeshit or cgi visual tic tacs from Pixar

It's chalk full of the same bombardment of soulless references and a script that sounds like what would happen if you put joss whedon through the human centipede

Just no one gets the references so it just looks like the most generic shit

You offer black? All we can offer is red… the accountant’s red.

As black as possible. Except in finances, we're keeping that one red.

This is the reason for the writer's strike FYI. All the black shows are bombing bad and they're taking it out on the writers.

Eddie Murphy was the lead in the first one so i have no idea why the idiot director felt the need to run his mouth about race. But he is one of the many young black people who can’t shut about about past events that he never experienced

This is why no one needs to buy the whole lefty argument that Barbie disproves “go woke, go broke.” Fine, you had a single woke hit. Blind squirrels, broken clocks, etc., almost nothing is without its exceptions. But there’s plenty of evidence in that statement’s favor, to include Bud Light, Velma, and others from just the last year.

Barbie is the old "exception that proves to rule." How many woke movies bomb just for this fluke to succeed? Probably enough to bankrupt most countries.

Its also ignoring the giant elephant in the room. Which is that Barbie probably made close to half its money on anti-woke sales from Ryan Gosling memes, which was set to happen regardless of any message.

The wokeness is failing so bad that they are pumping out articles daily trying to remind us of it to no avail. That wouldn't need to happen if it was succeeding because of its wokeness.

33 is a number closely associated with the Illuminati. The 33rd Degree is the absolute highest rank that one can attain within their number. Anon is simply noticing, I think.

Anon is jumping to conclusions. That numerology bullshit is one of the reasons I can't get fully on board with the Q thing. OMG, there are 17 bird shit splatters on this statue, IS THIS COMMS?!?
