Kind of my point that Finland is not the happiest country. In fact, Finland is one of the most depressed countries in the world with some of the highest suicide, alcohol consumption & antidepressant consumption rates. Kokoomus (KOK) - liberal right-wing party for wealthy people & and they promote the interests of employers, privatization of healthcare & want a lightened welfare state and they currently also promote opposite policies for current government's debt policies & high budget deficit. They have proposed to cut €8 billion from spending in the next government and thus turning the deficit into surplus.

Sosiaalidemokraattinen puolue (SDP) - socialist party close to workers' unions and current prime minister's party.

Vihreät (Vihr) - today a eco socialist party that promote feminist, LGBTQ+ & green policies.

Keskusta (Kesk) - centrist party that changes position in 4x4 political map depending who is the leader, currently it's very socialist party but previously when a businessman millionaire Juha Sipilä was the chairman of the party it was a right-wing party that promoted budget cuts & streamlining the welfare state. Juha Sipilä for example started the UBI trial and his idea was that UBI would remove need for dozen different benefits paid to poor, unemployed, disabled & elderly people and removing bureaucracy allowing cutting number of people employed by social security institute.

Swedish People's Party (SFP) - right-wing liberal party that is happy to be in government with anyone if they are able to better or protect lives of Swedish people living in Finland and they promote for example mandatory Swedish teaching in Finnish schools.

Kristillisdemokraatit (KD) - Christian Democrat party that is conservative right-wing party that split from Kokoomus when they felt that Kokoomus isn't doing enough to support Christianity in Finland.

Liike Nyt (Liik) - pro-market party led by a businessman and that party split from Kokoomus when they felt that Kokoomus was too left-wing regarding in welfare state & free market policies.
