Why does the DOJ even represent "asylees and refugees"? Why can't those people sue SpaceX themselves? When did this become the federal government's responsibility? I don't necessarily agree with it, but there's a "civil rights" principle that the federal government can sue to protect someone's constitutional rights under the law. This was filed by the "civil rights division" but I don't think it's actually an issue of rights (how?), and THEY AREN'T AMERICANS. Why do our tax dollars go to support lawsuits by foreigners who are competing with Americans?
Is there actually a law that says American companies have to hire non-Americans? Is it isolated to certain industries? Why would the United States have such a law? Something like that on the books completely undermines any politician promising "America First" to American workers.
