Another notch in its favor is its extreme attention to detail. There are a lot of little things this game has in it that you might not notice unless you scrutinize it closely. Such as various reload animations (such as guns having a 1 handed reload for when you have a shield and a proper partial reload for the revolver), a full first person ADS for all weapons including reload animations for that view point, the rocket launcher have back-blast (though that ones more obvious), and full on terrain deformation to name just a few things.

Honestly, not sure its going to happen. And I don't mean from bethesda itself, I mean from the actual modders. So many of them just aren't interested in it.

You might get a few mods here and there, but I really doubt we will ever see anything close to what skyrim or the fallout games have.

I disagree with you about BG1, though to anyone who is interested in trying out BG1 I strongly recommend reading a bit of a guide on how to play it. Specifically on how to properly create your character, as its quite easy to really screw yourself over in a very permanent fashion without realizing it.

Yes and no. I do honestly believe a significant chunk of those in power are holding that power via underhanded means, fortification if you will. Did some real people actually vote for the politicians behind this? Yes. Enough people to elect several politicians? Also yes. Enough people to elect enough politicians to push this? Honestly I don't think so.

Why not just get the original VA for claptrap? He is literally a robot so looks arent a problem.

It has pissed off a lot more than just Trump. A gigantic chunk of the retail market (guys that do the developing plans for building new buildings, renovating, etc), is going into full scale revolt over it and either cancelling new projects in New York or literally pulling out.

Absolutely. People like reading about people doing heroic things. Whether that is utilizing special powers or just simple acts of heroism, such tales will, when written well, be desirable to the public at large.

Honestly only way Ethan could have hope of a redemption arc is if he left California.

I can't stand console players whining about a lack of console exclusives. Console exclusives is the least healthy way to maintain a console market.

Additionally, one of the biggest reasons why I think consoles are getting screwed so hard is the lack of splitscreen support from any new games for years now.

Nah it happened immediately at the end of the parade in a slightly confined area (for that level of people.) Its quite likely a crush occurred.

I'm more concerned it will take down my computer alongside it.

Honestly, it doesn't even look worth the time it would take to pirate. It just looks like a dumpster fire

Hell, even of the few of the remaining matches likely weren't even there for the entire game and only contributed to part of it.

Agreed. It is incredible how insulting bg3 is to its predecessors

No. They have been doing so for a while now, I think Dershowitz talks about it a bit.

Last I checked feminists have also been lobbying to reduce age of consent considerably though.

I think the comparison to BG3 is unfair to Palworld. Palworld is honest about what it is: a survival game with pokemon mechanics where your "pokemon" support you both in combat and everyday things. It gives you a large sandbox world to mess around with, a wide variety of "pokemon" to fight and tame, and the tools with which to do that. It isn't trying to do more than that, doesn't claim to be trying to do more than that, and frankly it doesn't have to! All this while asking for a modest 30$.

BG3 claims that it is this grand overarching immersive world full of glorious storytelling. To put it bluntly, it fails at this, and does so in the worst way possible. Its story is trite and forgettable, as are its characters. Years from now BG3 will be nothing more than a footnote, at best. People won't remember what it was about, they wont remember any characters from it at all. Perhaps the only thing that might stand the test of time is its soundtrack (which I personally thought was mediocre at best, especially as game music, but people seem to like it a lot, so this may just be down to taste in my case).

On top of this it blatantly insults the previous games, reusing the original characters from BG1/2 in the worst possible way. Its downright disgusting what they did to Sarevok and the rest. This is without even getting into the rampant degeneracy which only becomes more and more extreme as you get deeper into the game. All this while asking for a premium 60$ price tag.

Keep in mind, trend chasing exists because its games that people want.

Trend chasing is honestly fine, if you actually produce something of good quality, and frankly Palworld is surprisingly good quality all things considered.

Assuming they arent heavily infested with diversity at this point.

Palworld is remarkably fun. Its like Ark but with Pokémon instead of dinos, and significantly more fun than it.

Problem with the stoking the flames like that is they choose to kick the wrong nest. Instead of pissing off the people that would never buy their games (such as feminists and their ilk), they piss off their direct customer base.

"Bad press" from the terminally woke is just good advertising at this point. Bad press from the real gaming crowd though is just bad press.
