The European Union is a great thing, we only need to replace the elected politicians ruling it, luckily we don´t live in Russia and this is something that can be done in the next EU elections this year.
The EU is non-democratic. You vote for the parliament but the parliament does not make laws. The parliament rubberstamps what ever the commission puts forward, the commission members are chosen via backdoor dealings and influence. You also have no say in electing the council of the EU.
The EU is the perfect bureaucratic body that does not have to care about the people. You will hear, you had to implement x or y because of the EU but there will never be a person or party responsible for the law, just an abstract institution.
I have always argued that the EU is in fact a Confederacy, but one with majority of power in non elected positions. It's actually worse than the Confederate States of America in that regard.

UK is at a different level of fucker. I don't understand how you guys aren't angrier. The people have been constantly against immigration and with a "conservative" government and you had record level immigration.

And you still have to deal with the EU because we are neighbours anyway, the decisions taken will affect you one way or another. Only that this time you can´t vote in the EU elections or have any say in the EU Parliament.

This sounds unbelievably evil even for the EU. I'm having a hard time believing it. I can't find any information on this "suicide of Europe" and the article cites no sources. It doesn't even say what the act is actually called. So I'm calling shenanigans until a better source is provided.
I looked up the "LIBE committee" and found a story from Hungary Today, which linked to this, from what is apparently the European Parliament website. The "suicide of Europe" thing seems to just be a somewhat old quote from Marine Le Pen.
