The only action that would dictate they were serious about protecting citizens and immigrants alike is if the navy's in the Mediterranean got shoot on sight orders for any of these illegal crossings

Extreme negligence leads to an extreme response to correct, no matter what the elites that support these measures will die because of them no matter the outcome.
