It has pissed off a lot more than just Trump. A gigantic chunk of the retail market (guys that do the developing plans for building new buildings, renovating, etc), is going into full scale revolt over it and either cancelling new projects in New York or literally pulling out.
Yup I've seen at least 2 billionaire real estate investors say that New York and California are no go zones for them now when it comes to future endeavors. Leftards are fucking themselves out of money and influence to try and get Trump, all for him to take 90% of these cases to the SC and have them tell the leftoids to eat shit.
I presume the thought on the DNC side is that if they can fortify this election enough, states won't matter, they'll get 'em at the federal level, which is better for them, anyway, as it's further removed from voters.
Completely tangential, but what do you think Baron Trump will do/become after watching the way his father (and family in general) has been treated? Will he set his sights on destroying the people who will inevitably come after him for being related to Undesirable #1, or vanish into obscurity with some remaining wealth? He's a completely unknown quantity AFAIK, and I haven't seen him attached to anything at all since he's still a minor.

Please try, i cannot tell you how many businesses will IMMEDIATELY abandon New York state if you tried to sieze Trump tower. Many will first empty assets to another state leaving shells before ditching.

People are already fleeing NYC in waves. I looked up their population the other day to update a scenario, and NYC is down to 4 million people on the island... 10 years ago, it was 8 million. Businesses have just boarded up and left, and office space is just sitting empty. Oh, and a lot of truckers are boycotting the big cities, too.
I will laugh if NY becomes America's ghost city like the ones they have in China.

Bonus irony is they will claim his tower's value is a fraction, like they did with Mar a Lago, then after stealing it, will claim its full value as an asset.
With commercial real estate prices about to collapse completely, Trump might be wise to give them the tower. Then when he wins the appeal, they have to pay him back for the building they stole at the value of the building when they stole it, and he can buy it back at the future collapsed value if he wants to go back into business in NYC for some reason.

(Copium speculation ahead) How wild would it be if all of these cases end up with New York owing Trump money, the Georgia DA's office all brought up on RICO charges, the National Archive and others held in contempt for withholding evidence and preventing discovery, and Alvin Bragg being caught using campaign money to pay for prostitutes?
At least half of those outcomes aren't entirely out of the realm of possibility at this point.
Of course, it's still more likely that at least one of them has to be appealed to the Supreme Court and that Roberts and Barrett will find a creative way to side with the gay commies.
