The tariffs are based on trade deficit, not actual tariffs being applied to US goods. So if we import a bunch of stuff from a country but they don't import as much from us, we're now charging them a tariff.

The vast majority of U.S. free trade policies were never meant to benefit Americans, they were meant to limit our options, de-industrialize the U.S., they were meant to benefit the stock market and the elitist jews who control entire industries through investment banks like BlackRock who shut down any ability for real competition to exist in America.
