It's essentially revealing where a lot of the rats are as since these tariffs are based on what they are applying to the US, a simple solution would be to remove those tariffs.
The tariffs are based on trade deficit, not actual tariffs being applied to US goods. So if we import a bunch of stuff from a country but they don't import as much from us, we're now charging them a tariff.
"Non Tariff Trade Barriers" indeed are critical. Europe makes it really impossible to get things from outside, especially Germany, by doing just this shit.
Economic sections of embassies should track and publish this publicly imo.
Just look up eudr. Was supposed to go into effect last year but thankfully Trump won which made them hesitate to sign it imo so they're taking an extra year to think it thru
Nothing about these tariffs makes any sense, even to Trump supporters. All countries, without exception, are getting a 10% minimum tariff. No exceptions. Doesn't matter if you've been a great trade partner, Trump says "Fuck you, pay me!"

Meanwhile when I ask them to explain how to get manufacturing to move back, most of them can't really say how
They don’t want manufacturing back. That would employ too many White gentiles and improve their quality of life.

You can't just base it off hard tariffs honestly. They'll find all ways to screw non locals by saying oh your things don't meet regulation.

That doesn't seem right. What if we don't make anything they want or need?
There's also the issue of scale.
What if a country like Canada has a tenth of your population?
They are still expected to import/consume 10× more than the population south of the border?
