Sexism just means acknowledging biological realities in feminism speak.

It’s worse than that. Sexism/ feminism is a Schrödinger term anymore, where anything must not be acknowledged unless the matriarchal “authority” says said acknowledgment is acceptable.

If they wanted a full female team they should just make a 5 women+ team. Men make better women

True and funny story. A guy from work was proudly cheering about Scarlet being a great StarCraft player and another guy at the table said something along the lines of: "I hope you know you've been jerking off to a dude"

The guy was in shock, literally said nothing.

That's pretty much eSports nowadays, from what I can tell.

I don't watch, but I'll pull up a Twitch stream if there are drops and, wow, it's trannies everywhere. Every casting panel seems to have a tranny, and every time they do some diverse 'women's tournament' or whatever, it really is mostly trannies.

Shit is both hilarious and sad. And then you can watch most of the chat cheer it on, while anyone saying anything - and I do mean anything - even related to 'that's a dude' gets timed out almost immediately. "Huh, she's got a really deep voice..." GONE! And then the gremlins in chat cheer that on too, because they're clearly on the Right Side of History, Bigots.

But, yeah, no joke. There really are near full tranny women's teams, at least that's what it seemed like. To be fair, some of those events I think were not women's teams, but 'anything but normal men' teams.

Oh man. Team Siren, never forget. The memes were amazing.

The actual, official, really, actually did this, this is reality, team trailer (EXTREME cringe warning)

Dunkey's verion.

Pros sniping the team: HotshotGG perspective & OddOne spectator perspective.

The screenshot itself is that ancient, its just a funny meme repost.

Honestly we should probably see if we can get "tags" for posts just to separate "news" from "oldies" to avoid that confusion.

I don't know why, but there are separate "tags" and "flairs." Maybe one is relevant to kia2 and the other to the wider .win site. Anyways, you can apply an "old" flair (it's the only option here) to your own post after posting.

There is one for memes and news, but I don't see one for old.

But I guess the bigger problem then is that nobody ever uses them to begin with, so even adding new ones wouldn't matter.

It wasn't there when I posted in it, but Dom did appear in it himself and I know in the past he has retroactively added tags to certain posts.

So I guess its possible on some end but not ours?

Why do western women constantly try to compete with men? Every single time, it happens, the end result is predictable. I wish they could take a page from Japanese girls in a lot of things but especially the willingness to play with men instead of against them by pulling this man vs women nonsense over and over again.

These past few months, I have watched a lot of Japanese contents, and competitive games like Apex, Valorant and LOL have been really popular in those crowds. Every now and then they hold competitions among the streamers and vtubers, not once have I seen girls sort of going out of their way to beat men in the games and have the vibe of you go girl schtick. I'm afraid too much exposure to feminism had the western women infected with delusional brainrot.

It's funny, too. For years I heard the dynamics between male and female in Japan are bad. Maybe it's true in the meatspace but I don't get that sense in the online yet. Seems like it's desperate ploy by the marxists to convince westerners Japan is sexist and pressure Japan to globohomo filth. And for a while, that really has been going on and some Japanese mayors actually folding to outside pressure and trying to insert foreigners into local Japanese town. But as usual while the major leaders become cucks to globohomo, the locals do fight back.

Why do western women constantly try to compete with men?

Because the galaxy brains who invented the Internet decided to open our borders to literally the entire world, so our entire society is being constantly bombarded by bad foreign actors encouraging every retarded idea they come across, and women struggle immensely to understand the dynamics of hostile environments, so they seek consensus with every voice that projects hostility towards them, which means they end up projecting hostility towards the only people who DON'T attack them: White men.

Any team that rejects talents on the basis of gender is going to be a failed team in the long term. Short-term, I'm sure that these Vaevictis made lots more cash than many teams of equivalent skill, from sponsorships and pandering because women live life on easy mode, but long-term we see that rejecting potential team-mates because of gender to maintain your all-one-gender-brand does not lead to a winning team.

I bet an "all male team" would do fine.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– DefinitelyNotIGN 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

Possibly, but a team that happened to be all-male simply because they scouted the best but didn't make it their identity or mantra, wasting no effort or training time to virtue signal, likely would do even better.

Is this new?

I remember the Siren group many years back for LoL and they had similar stat lines.

Male teams got punished for buying troll items/skill builds in games because the skill difference was so massive that they just fucked around.

Does anyone have that clip of the female CS team where the girl throws her gun and then gasses her own team? It also has a guy trying to commentate it and he just gives up and sighs

Wasen't one of their opposing team punished for banning stereotypically female LoL picks? ( During champion selection each team gets to pick a few ''bans''. )

And it was effective in fucking-up the wimminz's best-command champion strategy?

This is why you can't have preferential treatment in open leagues, or open leagues at all. Because then judges start simping for women trying to tip the scale in their favor.

I don't remember if it was against this team specifically, but there was an instance where an all male team banned nothing but support characters against an all female team and the League officials got very upset about it.

They keep trying it over and over while pretending they never did it before, so this time can be the 'one that works.' It never does, and the internet remembers forever.

It happened every year in the '10s because Esports was still trying to become "a thing" in every single game possible, and the moment it did some Exec wanted to throw a marketing budget at it to try and triple his shekels.

All girl teams were a great "stand out" gimmick, but they were always either super cringe from trying too hard or fell apart within a few games because they had no actual skill in a very competitive environment.

Its honestly a great case study on how "entertainment" industries function in terms of investments, corporate interests, and many other factors. The female thing is just a flavor of a much larger constant issue.

8 or 9 in top level play and that's with the best in the world trying to kill you. These weren't against the top level assassin's in the world. It was against five random dudes whose best communication is emojis

Its a game where getting killed once early on could just lose the game entirely through cascading effects, and will often either get you kicked or have your team give up rather than waste the time on a loss anyway.

A year or two ago I reinstalled LoL to play a bit, this was before announced they were installing their always-running ''anti-cheat'' malware.

I tried playing one PvP match after several PvE warmups.

One of my teammates berated me for my first item pick, insulted me several times and rage-quited using a bot to fake activity to avoid the leaving penalty.

Why bother letting you chose your items at that point when ''picking wrong'' = ''go fucking die for wasting my game retard'' less than 2 minutes into the game.

And yeah the other players click to surrender ASAP to end the game.

MOBAs are an insanely toxic environment by design. You can't deviate from the meta because 99% of the time the character you are playing is 100% solved for the best possible choices at all times.

Its a thing that cannot be separated from the design because its always all or nothing for victories in long ass matches, and the biggest ones lack any catchup mechanics to bounce back from any mistakes.

It is a game that appeals to retards because it is slow and mechanically simple enough that following a flowchart is far more important than any level of skill expression.

The fact that it is considered extremely competitive is a complete joke. People that seriously play that genre, let alone that game, are mongoloid and deserve zero respect.

It's the kind of number the Washington Generals would put up against the Globetrotters in an esports league.
