Any team that rejects talents on the basis of gender is going to be a failed team in the long term. Short-term, I'm sure that these Vaevictis made lots more cash than many teams of equivalent skill, from sponsorships and pandering because women live life on easy mode, but long-term we see that rejecting potential team-mates because of gender to maintain your all-one-gender-brand does not lead to a winning team.
Possibly, but a team that happened to be all-male simply because they scouted the best but didn't make it their identity or mantra, wasting no effort or training time to virtue signal, likely would do even better.
