"Unnecessary fear" hasn't that been the response since 2020?

term ‘can cause unnecessary fear’

Wasn't that why the "experts" invented it in the first place?

They needed a name for all the effects of the shots. Normally I'd say "side effects", but can you really call them that, if they're the only effects they had?

For real. And if you ever try to talk sense into a cult member you end up falling into that meme of patrick starr and his wallet:

"So we agree that the shots never stopped you from getting infected?"

"Yup."

"And we agree that the shots never stopped transmission in a meaningful way?"

"Yup."

"And we agree that governments pushed the shots under the pretense the shots would prevent infection and stop transmission?"

"Yup."

"And we agree that even if you were up to date on your shots you could still get sick and die?"

"Yup."

"So all the mandates were completely pointless and the shots themselves were worthless at best."

"Well actually the shots were very valuable in reducing the severity of illness. I am so glad we have them and fuck dirty antivaxxers."

Every. Single. Time.

I'm as anti-vax as they come, but I think at least a decent chunk of long covid is simply placebo created by fear mongering from having covid. My mother didn't get the vax but had "long covid" for a couple months.

We're moving into the "No-one forced you to take the jab" phase.

Wasn't it like... a few weeks ago where they literally said this in the Australia parliament? It doesn't help that they're literally a prison colony but I don't want it normalized here in the states.

The power and control Covid fear was granting has run out, so now they want to stop acknowledging the things they made up to get that as valid to avoid having to pay for the days off, justified "weaker" workers, and all the other medical bills they won't pay for it.

That's all this is. They aren't coming to the truth or having a change of heart. They are just trying to chuck the long consequences of their actions now that they don't pay as well.

And then blame it on someone else.

That’s the real “long COVID”

Too bad that the "health experts" lost any credibility they ever had when they pushed the covid propaganda in the first place. I would take medical advice from my mechanic, my landscapers, or the guy working the register at Costco before I ever listened to "health experts" about anything ever again.

'experts' say it doesn't exist? That means we really have to worry about it.

Okay, considering what we've been collectively put through and have survived ... how much fear is necessary fear, if this is unnecessary?

How about that. I know a guy who is convinced he has long COVID, but I don't know if this news is going to be reassuring to him. Early dementia?

Is he vaxxed? Is "Early dementia" the new Died Suddenly?

He never got the jab. Claims he has brain fog and a cough that never went away.

These types follow the same heuristic:

If a source agrees with their opinion, post it everywhere and rely on it, regardless of the quality of the data or the conflicts of interest.

If a source disagrees with their opinion, it is fake news.

Some people have long-term problems after covid, but they are indistinguishable from the problems you can get from any flu or cold virus, especially in people deficient in vitamin d or other nutrients.

However, long covid-vaccine exists and is a "novel disease entity" with "incidence of 0.02%" (1 in 5000).

While anything that reproduces by killing healthy cells is going to leave some lasting damage past when the infection itself has been wiped out, it seems telling that the risk factors for "long COVID" include things like anxiety, depression and neuroticism.

About 4 years late with that, "health experts".

More people than ever are going to take their health into their own hands, clean up their diets, and take the best care of themselves they possibly can specifically so that they won't be at your mercy anymore.

Your credibility's destroyed; the only way you can regain any semblance of it is to step down and let real doctors like Judy Mikovits, David Martin, Peter McCullough, Stella Immanuel, and any of America's Frontline Doctors do their things free of your influence.

Long COVID is part of libtard canon so this is way too late, but it's nice to see a real story like this.

Something some of us knew the whole time. Shocker.

The whole thing was a scam from the start, and the doctors are now back peddling over it. So are the ones who would have happily put us into camps.

The name is certainly retarded and has been overplayed in a rather vague ominous way, but long-term after effects can certainly be a thing (much like with other nasty hitting viruses).

It's not entirely untreatable though, but can occasionally be tricky to find the right remedy. What specifically has been thrown out of whack in an individual's system can vary a bit.

That's basically what the report is saying, that all serious viruses could cause those symptoms in rare cases and it doesn't make sense to single out Covid19 as anything special.
