It will take longer for a new Elder scrolls than morrowind-Skyrim at this point. It will take longer for a gta6 than gta3-5. The drastic drop in quality is insane considering the timeframes they have. By comparison Helldivers 2 was almost 8 years with a far smaller studio, complete change of every thing considered the first was a top down shooter while bringing quality and still only being 50 bucks.

Suicide Squad game was 7 years in production, the Batman trilogy was 8 years. It took about the same time to create 1 bad game as 3 great ones.
