Well, dang. I don't know too much about him, and I know we like to rag on actors, but he seemed like a pretty decent guy, had a lot of struggles, and was only fifty-four. Real shame.

He seemed like he was someone who would have been better off not making a million dollars an episode. He could have been a low budget "That guy" comedian who shows up in random movies, always working to keep above the line of being rich and still working, and instead he had a direct funnel of coke from south america, and it killed his spirit.
Sounds like he had addiction issues long before he struck it rich, though. I stumbled upon a talk of his when I was looking him up yesterday, and he was talking about how he realized he handled alcohol differently when he was only fourteen. He was also given doctor-proscribed barbiturates as an infant.
So I think he would have had the same issues, rich or not.
